My feet hit the ground, sending a shock through my legs. Even through the pain, I keep running. I don't know how long I had been running before I made it to the Post Office. when I got there, i walked in, and sat down, catching my breath. I decided to write a letter to my father explaining exactly what had happened. When I finished writing, I mailed it to him using the return address from the original letter. I then walked out of the Office and began walking to the main road, which would lead me to Thaloville, the next town over, which is also the town on the return address.
I had only been walking twenty minutes when I saw an expansive black car speeding towards me. The person in the passenger seat was Devil on earth, which if you paid any attention earlier, you'd know it was Mr. Chlome.
I immediately began to sprint into the forest at the edge of the road. I could hear the car screeching to a stop behind me. A few seconds later I hear the doors slam shut, followed by people yelling and running after me. I continued running through the woods, but starting slowing down, realizing, I had no idea where I was. I was getting very tired, especially from the fight and flight earlier. I can now hear them crashing through the woods behind me, gaining very quickly. I knew I couldn't outrun them much longer, I could feel the adrenalin wearing off, the sweat flowed down my face like a flooded river. I decided to hide instead. I quickly scanned my surrounding, and located a bunch of thick bushes.
I began bolting towards them, but just as I got there, I felt a sharp pain right under my shoulder. The next thing I knew, my captors were upon me, and then, everything went dark.
