After I had finished delivering my death threats, I decided that I'd have to go back home, and tell Mr. Chlome what had happened. I went and picked up the blanket, and cleaned up the remnants of our lunch. After I had packed everything into the basket, I took one last look at the lake. The lake now looked eery, and the trees had stopped swaying, everything was silent, except for Celestial's scream echoing through my head.
I turned away, and began to walk back the way we had come. It felt like so long ago, even though it was only a couple hours ago. The trip back was long and tiring, and eerily quiet without her.
When I reached the house, I was too scared to walk in and face them. But I knew I had to, so better now than later. I finally brought myself to walk in, and as soon as I stepped inside, Mr. And Mrs. Chlome ran over to me, and gave me a great big hug. But quickly pulled back when they saw that Celestial wasn't with me.
"Where's Celestial?" Asked Mr. Chlome forcefully. He was the first one to ask, fearing that what he thought happened was true.
"He...he...he took her," I responded quietly.
That ended the conversation, They both sauntered off into their bedroom. I stood there for a moment, and then decided to head to my room as well.
Throughout the night, I could hear them arguing on and off. And in the morning when I went to check on them , they were gone. This was definitely not the reaction I'd thought they'd have, I thought they'd mope around for a couple days, and then search. But I knew exactly what had happened, as soon as I saw the two letters that lay on Mr. Chlome's pillow.
