(Mr. Chloe's POV)
"I just don't think its logical to head south, when the scent obviously heads north," I said.
"I already told you, the wind will play tricks on you. The southern wind is carrying their scent to the north," he replied.
"I'm still not so sure," I said.
"Just trust me, she's your daughter, but she's my son's will to live," he said sympathetically.
"Yeah, ok, let's just go, were wasting time," and with that, I started the car and continued our quest.
We headed south as decided earlier. We drove all say, and decided to pull an all-nighter as well. But around midnight I was too tired, I told Mason (yeah thats tom's dad's name lol) I couldn't drive anymore, and he volunteered to drive while I slept.
As I dozed off, I realized that he hadn't driven a car since tom was three. Being too tired to worry about it, I quickly gave in and I fell into a deep sleep. But it came back to haunt me. After a few hours of sleep I was awakened by a huge noise and a violent jerk, we had crashed.
