The visitors have been in a tracking beam for a little while they are arriving. They can't land without seeing the runway. They also can't see in the low light conditions, so we need to give them special contacts to see while they are here.

I'm listening to Cujo's thoughts. "I don't give a shit that the guards are supposed to go up there first to introduce us. I'm getting in there first, I don't have time for this shit."

The tractor beam ends, and their door opens almost enough for someone to slip in Cujo jumps right in there. He says out loud "I'm Alpha Alpha Alpha Alpha Cujo, who the fuck is Adolf?" Smallest one in the plane raises his hand nervously. Cujo put a collar on him and pick him up by his waist and leap back out of the door he bumps some metal bending it during his exit leaving some skin and blood behind, "I'm sorry Alpha Marie we will fix that if we need to." Cujo says as he sprints away flailing human in one hand screaming like a young pup's howl.

The walkway lowers down all the way, and I walk up to them following the guards they are fully armored in their human form. With their rifles. You can cut the tension with a knife as I walk up there. I get through my guards, and I wait for everyone else to get into the cargo bay with me, "At ease soldiers of both. I hope my English is well for windmill." They go to at ease with their rifles uniformly pointed 45 degrees out with their hands behind their back even going so far as to blink all at the same time, their discipline is amazing. I turn my attention to Marie, "how long it taken to train your soldiers? They do everything so goodly you can feel the vibrations from their moving same time."

She smirks, "We train them for 100 weeks for basic training alone, depending on the job it can be up to 300 weeks depending on the job but that's on the job training, and basic training depends on their intelligence can be as early as 14 years old or as late as 19 years old."

I'm surprised by their dedication, "Wow, that's a long time. We don't live long enough for that. The norm for us is to live is 20-30 years" I smile. "Ok, I have a partner assigned for everyone here best I can, some are just going to be random I know my people, not yours. Around me are the guards for your, uncle I think you said it was. Everyone else is behind me."

She responds, "Yes Alpha"

I make a command. "Guards, single file one side best you can in the small space." The guards walk aside to my left. "And everyone else makes a path to my right. Marie I would like to take this time to have your doctors to leave with my son and go to the vets who are waiting just outside. Have them put on these collars first." They put on the collars and calmly leave with the cart with him covered up still." They are very somber which is appropriate every one of my people salutes with their hands out at a 90-degree angle from their foreheads. Marie's people all take a knee with their heads bent down holding each other's shoulders showing respect by doing a simultaneous short prayer. After he is off everyone returns to at ease. "Ok, so Marie the rest will be only us 2, you do not need to wear a collar because you are an Alpha. I'm putting a temporary tattoo on your forehead for identification. If you stay close to me that is, everyone else will wear collar. Oh and obviously Cujo took your soldier to the library he is going to be dropping him off there, and he will be closely watched by two female librarians one is an Epsilon, and the other is a Bravo. One is mean because she just got done with being in heat but usually very nice, the other one is in heat almost always but is a totally horrible to deal with because men do not seem to like her, but you don't know that." I pause, "he will be stripped of everything when he gets there. Everyone who's human no weapons, no armor, no clothes besides underwear we don't need breeding here. We try to regulate how many of each species we have in colony Medics are exempt because we're going to put them to work and we need them fully sanitized with as little skin as possible to avoid diseases since they will be working with the injured and ill our hospital is currently dealing with injuries from a cave collapse three days ago." I change subjects, "If you get into a fight while you are not claimed by someone in the Alpha family you are liable to get maimed or eaten or both. No one outside of here except the librarians and our family knows about why people, humans, from Illinois are here. We are technically at war with you all, but there's been a 60 something year cease fire. Everyone will be receiving a whip for your safety and an earpiece to translate your words into our language." I point to everyone on my side, "please pass your extra headset to these humans across from you. It translates your language to yours and the other way around. I'm one of the few that have chosen to try to learn English frequently; my late son also tried he was learning from me and a few others as well. Just remember to not use the whip on just anyone it's a formal duel request to use that on someone to do it right." I face my brother. "I'm going to use you as an example," and he steps towards me. "Assert yourself. 'I hereby challenge you to a duel,' and give your reason, and I whip my brother diagonally across the chest. Across the chest is for family and general disrespect, the face is personal disrespect and legs are for rank disrespect. If anyone challenges someone else for any reason, I will deal with the rules then. Diplomacy hasn't been discussed for around 60 years so Marie, it will be boring but we have to do that."
