After I get home, I run up to my room and fall face first onto my bed. I here someone knock on the door, then the door opens. I assume it's one of my parents, and they never try to come into my room, but it's actually my best friend from middle school, Charlie. I only realize this when she walks into my room and says, "wow, Alex I can see your butt you know that right, what the heck are you wearing," I dry off my eyes and look towards her, she's wearing a t-shirt with a smiley burger and a pair of track pants. It's so weird how different she is from my other friends.
"Do you wanna go to a movie?" She asks, "sure," I reply, and I start to leave my room when Charlie says, "there is no way I'm letting you go into public dressed like that," and she pushes me back into my room, and starts digging threw my closet.
Charlie throws me a pair of Adidas track pants and my old minecraft t-shirt. "Wow," I say, "I haven't worn this shirt since September." "You have changed," Charlie says, and she grabs my arm and runs out the door. "So what movies are out," Charlie says, "wow the Lego Batman movie looks good, or we could see Moana!" "They do look good," I say, "but those are kids movies, lets watch something more mature." "I'm Going to the Lego Batman movie, come if you wan't," she says, and we buy our tickets and go into the theatre.
That was amazing!" "hilarious," "crazy," we say as we walk out of the theatre. As we talk we're smiling and laughing and I feel as happy as I was when I was in middle school, simple, makeup free, easy middle school. Suddenly I look to my left and see Cara and Amber from school. I keep my head down as Charlie says, "what the hey! Do you know those girls," I look up and see them walking over to us. "Hey," they say in unison, "what did you guys just see?" Cara says with a fake smile. "We just saw The Lego-" Charlie starts to say as I cut her off, "umm Fistfight," I say looking at the huge poster, "it was really great." Charlie gives me a death glare but I keep up my story, "oh that's what we just saw, we can talk about it at school!" Cara says, "yes," I say, "of course, see you tomorrow!" They walk away as Charlie says, "how are you gonna talk about the movie if you've never actually seen it?" "I will have seen it," I say as I pull her over to buy 2 tickets to fistfight.
