The walk home from the movie theatre is quiet. Charlie keeps giving me dirty looks and I feel really uncomfortable. Finally we reach my house, we walk in and run up to my room. We sit there in silence for a few minutes until finally, she says something. "What the hell," I saw your Instagram by the way, I see you changed it all," "sorry," I reply, "it's just that, I guess there's so much pressure, it was so tempting to be able to talk to her about that." "Wow," Charlie says, "that's really stupid, I can't believe you lied and made me watch that horrible movie, I mean seriously, I never wanna see that again!" Charlie leaves my house as I sigh to myself, what have I become. I check my phone and see that I have a message from Alfie. My heart starts beating extremely fast as I check what he said. "Sorry I left so quickly Saturday, wanna hang soon?" It reads, I'm so excited that he doesn't hate me after all and I reply directly. "Sure when?¿" I say, "how about 5 tomorrow, meet me at the mall," and I flop down on my bed and smile at the ceiling.
4:10 and I'm getting ready for my date. I am not going to look like a clone of Cara again, so I wear some Lulu Lemon leggings and a roots sweater, but to dress it up a bit, I wear I good amount of make up. I walk to the bus stop and all I can think about is how this date is gonna go. We arrive at the mall and I see him waiting at the entrance, he waves and I smile and wave.  I jog over to him and he puts his hand on my upper arm, "I hope your not mad about last time," he says, "I can't even explain what was going threw my head it's just that-" I cut him off, "it's ok, I understand, but I mean it was kinda weird to her that, but let's not talk about it anymore ok?" He nods and we walk into the mall.
