Lydia's eyelids fluttered open and she was blinded by the sunlight streaming in through the window. Her eyes adjusted and she looked around, realizing she wasn't in her own room. She looked down at the chest her head was resting on, saw the arms wrapped around her waist and looked up to see Stiles still sleeping. She rested her chin on his chest and just gazed up at him, admiring how innocent and peaceful he looked as he slept.

"Stop staring." he suddenly said, startling her. She lightly giggled.

"Why?" she responded. By now his eyes were open and he was looking down at her.

"It's creepy." he answered, but his smile said otherwise.

"Good morning." she said quietly, bringing her arms up around his neck and meeting his lips in a gentle kiss.

"Morning." he replied after she pulled away. She moved to get up but was pulled back down onto his chest by his arms wrapping tighter around her.

"Stiles, come on we have to get up." she said, lightly slapping his chest. He silenced her by once again connecting their lips.

"No we don't. It's summer. We can just stay in bed all day if we want." he told her.

"And do what?" she asked.

"I'm sure we can entertain ourselves." he said, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

"Get your mind out of the gutter Stilinski." she responded.

"Well it's a little difficult with the most beautiful girl in the world lying naked on top of me." he countered. She blushed at the compliment and reached up to lightly kiss him again.

"Not that I wouldn't want to, but I'm pretty sure your dad is home. So we should probably emerge from your room at some point today." she said while getting up, this time he let her. "I'm going to take a shower." she said as she walked towards his adjoining bathroom, leaving the door open behind her as a clear invitation for him. He laughed before getting up to join her.

"Mmmmm I smell coffee." Lydia said as the two headed downstairs to the kitchen. They stopped when they saw the Sheriff sitting at the table, drinking coffee while reading his newspaper.

"Morning kids." he said casually without looking up. Lydia couldn't stop blushing and Stiles simply laughed as he lightly pushed her into the kitchen to get some coffee. They both filled a mug and fixed it they way they liked before walking over to join Stiles' dad at the table.

"So I thought I told you no funny business just because I was at work." the Sheriff said. Lydia looked down at her coffee, her cheeks ablaze while Stiles chuckled.

"Sorry Pops. Didn't really plan on it." he told his father. The Sheriff shook his head, chuckling as he took as sip of his coffee, his eyes never leaving the newspaper.

"So Lydia, have you thought about what you want to do after high school?" the Sheriff asked her.

"A little. I've been looking at a few schools. Some are more local but some are further away." she replied. He nodded his head in understanding and Lydia looked over at Stiles who was looking down at his coffee in concentration. Her brow furrowed in confusion, why did he look upset. She reached over and grabbed his hand, giving him a small smile. He squeezed her hand in return but she still wasn't reassured. After they finished their coffee they decided to go to the park to enjoy the beautiful summer weather. They were sitting on the swings and Stiles still had that concentrated look on his face. She reached over and grabbed his hand but he barely even looked up in recognition. She got up and stood in front of him, putting her hands on his cheeks to make him look up at her.
