ㅤㅤ"ah, it's so hot." i complained. the trunk is too small for me, i can hardly move and it's also suffocating me. "why is she taking so long?" i peek outside and just in moment, i saw joohyun get out of her house, before she sees me, i immediately closed the trunk and waited for her to start driving.
the car vibrates indicating she just started the engine and damn, i really thought my soul was left back in the front of her house because heck, she drives so fast! i was getting my head repeatedly hit on her car's trunk!
i think i just died.
"ouch! the humps though! please slow down, joohyun!" of course, i didn't shout that. she'll surely get creeped out if she heard someone coming from her car's trunk.
after a couple of minutes, the car stopped indicating that we already arrived on the flower park. i checked the surroundings first before i get off from the car's trunk and massaged my head. "joohyun is hands down a terrible driver."
i looked around the park to see if there's a thing that i could hide myself. luckily, i saw a green cloth placed on the bushes. someone probably left it. i took it and cover my head as i secretly eavesdrop to joohyun and my past self.

"what is it that you wanted to talk?" taehyung asked joohyun who has been looking down.
"taehyung... would you get mad if someone lie to you?" she trailed.
"i wouldn't be mad but i'll feel betrayed instead. why the sudden question though?" he answered.
"nothing." joohyun faked a smile. "anyway, wanna hang out? it's been awhile since we got along."
"sure, let's go!" taehyung agreed and started to walk with her.
i followed myself wait- them secretly, i was watching joohyun's movements and actions, the way she walks and smile that doesn't look genuine. i still have no idea on what was going on that's why i promised myself that i'm going to find all about it.
the turns to other way when she suddenly stopped and looked at the building in front of her— it was a public hospital. my past self didn't saw her and just keep on walking.
dumb tae.
"what is she doing?" i asked myself, seeing her as she nonchalantly enters the hospital and talked to the faculty lady there. it took a couple of minutes when taehyung went back and searched for her.
"oh, so this is what really happened?" i chuckled to myself, feeling a bit of pain on my heart. "she said she saw a very cute cat and played with it, i didn't think she was just lying."
joohyun, from the other side, saw him and felt her heartbeat quickens. she immediately said goodbye to the lady she was talking to and secretly exited the hospital. as if on cue, she saw a cat passing by so she went down and picked it up. "taehyung!" she called. "come here!"
he let out a sigh of relief when he saw her, "yah! where have you been? i was confused when strangers kept looking at me as if i was mad. i didn't know you went somewhere! geez, i was talking to myself all along!"
"sorry, i couldn't help but stop and play with this cute cat." joohyun excused and put the cat down. liar. taehyung hit her head playfully and told her to proceed on walking.
why did you lie?
when the two was very far away, i made my way to the hospital — still covering myself with a cloth. i went to the information counter and asked the lady that joohyun just talked to. "hi, excuse me."
the lady didn't even turn her head nor answer, so i cleared my throat. "uhm, madam? i have something to ask."
when i was about to say something again, someone walked past me. no scratch that, someone walked through me. i was taken a back, that i suddenly throw the cloth away.
the people around me had their eyes huge.
"where did that thing came from?!"
they were shocked when a cloth appears from nowhere — flying in the air. it's like someone just did a magic. the kids began to run and scream, they thought it was a ghost but little do they know, that it was just A MAN FROM THE FUTURE who wanted to make things right. because of the frightened children, the elders began to panic too.
i was still standing there, watching as the people around me freaked out. "what the...?" i mumbled. "they didn't see me all along?! what's the point from hiding then?! tch!"

when the people were busy wandering around, i took the chance to search joohyun's name on the master list records of the hospital.
