Howls cried to him in the darkest of the night, it triggered his blood to rise. She’d been located. Stripping the less useful clothing Dean hurried his feet into their quicker state, following the cries of his wolves he rounded a bend before seeing three of them sniffing around a small hut. Located almost inside a large tree Dean frowned at the living state his soul half was put in, it bothered him that a woman who belonged to him lived in such dank housing.
Pushing the low rise door Dean ducked to enter, her smell mixed in his nose calming every nerve present. His senses picked up a male who also had resided in the hut, prickling Dean’s skin he growled low within his throat. Each step brought him closer to a room that permeated her flowery undertones, tapping the corner of her door it slid across the wooden worn floors. A small cart to one corner was bare as was the whole room besides a small end table, a lamp sat alone as if it had never seen another like it.
The three draw dresser was his first movements to, pulling each draw open finding not a thing- not even lint. Huffing his displeasure Dean moved around the room which took less then four strides, this wasn’t right- his soul should of at least had decent furniture a bed that didn’t look like a cell mat. No pictures of her or personal items to which his soul cared for, it was as if she’d never even existed. The beast in him whimpered for the untold whereabouts of his other half, he needed her just as much as she needed him.
Stepping through the house Dean checked everything, he wanted a token a piece of her till she was found. And she would be found. One long stride out of the hut and he looked around, two of the three wolves had stayed waiting for orders.
“I want her found.” Bowing their heads the two fled vanishing back to the dark, taking a second look into the hut Dean grumbled taking off back to his property.
There was no reason she’d except him after what he did, he knew this deep down inside his heart. But there was always a chance she’d allow him near her, a chance to taste her lips run fingers threw more then night hair. The flowery undertone of earth and magic that brought his knees to a quake, their pull that joined them together would only grow weak if he didn’t find her.

Eyes gasped at the magnitude of her new home, every turn she took Ember found something new to marvel at. She’d found out that smaller wolf male was Daniel, he had been quite a stunning looking man. Which blonde hair that twisted over his eyes and ears, baby blue eyes shone through the mass of golden threads. Daniel had sooner Ember to her room and excused himself, the man boy male was a gentleman and Ember found herself blushing as he bowed his head to her.
Now left to her own devices Ember rubbed her neck, everything was flooding her brain somehow it reminded her of the small river where a beaver had built a dam. When she’d removed one of those large tree branches the water rushed past her feet, joining the trickle that had once been a mighty river again.
This house or mansion was her fathers….father…..hers….they seemed to fit very nicely. Like they had always belonged to begin with. Smiling Ember walked deeper into the grand room, deep mahogany grain blessed all the furniture. Brining out each sliver of grain in the beautiful wood, shining brass handles reflected her shadow as she passed on by.
A dark carpet pushed under each step she took leaving a small wake in her trail, with the large bed to the center Ember’s smile widened. It had been a few days since she’d slept in a real bed, and not a cart like she had back with Len…..Len how was he fairing without her. She worried for his health, and lonely mind. Though he’d never say he missed her, Ember new better then to believe such a kind hearted man didn’t love.
Ember pushed the thoughts of Len away for now, plenty of time for her to send reassurance to him. She didn’t think her father wouldn’t allow her to do such a thing since Len had saved her life, if anything Ember believed full heartedly that he would reward Len greatly. Not that Len would accept or want a thing in return. Laying on her bed Ember pulled the pillow closer her brain on fire from the slaughter of thoughts, she was home….her real home. A bittersweet feeling.

His desk covered in files and reports, but his mind hit a brick wall. Crashing to a halt at her smell still filling his nose up, tears brimmed his eyes at the loveliness of his kin. His Ember is stunning even if she was a half breed, the child of a product of love and over whelming passion. Terrance had never knew what happened to the human woman he’d fallen hard for, she wasn’t his other half but very close.
