"Pick up fries," Kurt called from the kitchen window.

I took the fries and take to table twelve "enjoy" I smiled.

There's Nothing like working at Tom's Diner in the middle of March. I've been working there since January with my best friend Jake, who came a month later, he's also my roommate, we tell each other everything. He's from Chicago. He moved cause he wanted to live somewhere new, a change of scenery.

"Ohad, you ready to finish the shift?" Jake asked.

"Oh, yeah, I want this day to end. I wanna go home and watch Pretty Little Liars," I sighed.

"I know, I can't believe what happened," Jake said, smiling.

As our shift ended, we both walked out the door heading to our apartment, which is a few blocks away. When we see our apartment building, we see a moving truck as well. "Looks like someone is finally moving in upstairs," Jake said. "I know, let's get out of these diner clothes and greet them," I suggested as we keep walking to the front entrance of our building.
