"Where are we headed?" Derek asked, sitting next to me on the subway. I replied by telling him we are going to Broadway to do some shopping. He didn't say much during the ride; neither did Jake as he's with his headphones, but I don't mind cause I'm doing the same thing; Listening to All Time Low with my favorite songs 'Somewhere in Neverland' (Well one of my favorite songs).

First thing, the three of us headed to Forever 21. Jake grabbed some t-shirts and tanks as did I with a few pairs of jeans, while Derek is just browsing; Probably wasn't sure of what he wants. "Everything okay?" I said he nods like meant it, but his facial expression says otherwise, "You know you can tell me anything, right?" I assured him.

He smiled as he kept browsing, "I know, it's just that this store reminds me when we first met." I began to chuckle. "Yeah, I remember I was your stylist, and you were so bold for asking my number."

"Well, you do have good taste," Derek added.

"Be right back."

I went and found a dark pair of jeans and a blue shirt with white polka-dots. "Here, try these on," I suggested handing him the clothes as he went to the fitting room while I followed. Jake came out wearing light blue ripped jeans. "What do you think?". I start to expect the jeans to see if I like it or not "I like the jeans, I might just get them myself but as long if it's not a button-fly, I dislike them." Button-Fly's shouldn't exist; I mean, I can never fit into any of them, but oh well.

Jake shook his head, "They're not."

"Good," I responded.

Derek came out of the fitting room wearing the clothes I suggested to him; Jake seemed a little surprised by what he saw, telling Derek how impressive and classy he looks, but I would like to know of what he thinks. Derek grinned at me and said he wants it. We later finished and went to the cashier to buy our clothes. Then next we went to H&M and Zara. By that point, I asked Jake for the time to which he responded. It's almost 4:30. By then, we all decided to grab a bite and head home.

I went to my room, putting the new clothes away as Jake did the same. "Knock, knock" I turned to see Derek at my bedroom door.

"What's up?" I as

"Not much," he replied.

I head to my bed to relax. "I just want to say thank you for today," Derek added. I began to smile at him, "My pleasure." Derek sat next to me, looking at me feeling uncertain, "I got to ask, but was there something else you wanted to say this morning?" I said. He flopped on the bed on his back while he is staring up at the ceiling while I did the same; "I just wanted to say I like you a lot, and I don't know if you feel the same or your feelings have changed..." Derek trailed off. I can tell he turned his head to look at me, but I didn't look back," and I also wanted to say that I care about you and will protect you; you're like my little brother. I hope you feel the same way, seeing me as your big brother.if you are okay with that?". I turned my head to look at him, as well. "I like you too, and yes, I do consider you as my big brother, and I'm sorry for not trying to contact you after I left Philadelphia."

Derek chuckled, "I understand." We both got off the bed, giving each other a tight hug.

"I'm glad your in my life," he whispered.

"Me too," I whispered back.
