"Hi, is Mr. Diamond in today?" I say to the receptionist lady.

"Yes, and whom shall I say is the meeting for?" the lady smiled as she picked up the phone.

"Just tell him it's a long-time friend that wants to surprise him."

"Okay, have a set, and I will know when he is free."

I sat next to Danny, beginning to look nervous. It has been so long since I've seen Mr. Diamond I don't know if he is going to be pissed or happy to see me, Danny has that confused look at why we are here. Looking around nervously, he held my hand.

"Babe, why are we here?"

"You wanted to see my past," I replied.

"Do you want to see him?"

"I think so; I think it will be good for me to see him."

Danny kissed the side of my face, "Okay."

"Mr. Diamond would like to see you now," the lady said.

I followed her to his office, I opened the doubled doors standing there facing his desk, Mr. Diamond facing the window and I don't think he knows it's me. I asked Danny to wait in the waiting room so I can be alone, he feels uncomfortable about it, but I assured him I would call his name if anything goes wrong.

"Hi, Josh," I whispered

He turned his chair in shock, "Ohad, it has been so long."

I nodded, "It has." He walked over to me with his arms wide open for a hug "How's my baby boy doing?" he smiled. I kept quiet; I didn't say much without a shrug. "Why are you back in Philadelphia, or should I say what brought you back?" Josh demanded. I start to look down "My...boyfriend...suggested it..." Josh didn't hear the answer in my voice cause I was so quiet "SPEAK UP!" he demanded.

I jumped when he yelled. "I'm sorry for yelling, baby, but when you left, I was so worried," he hugged me again but tighter "I'm sorry," I whispered. "I'm sorry, too," he whispered back.

"So do tell me, why did you come back?" he asked again, laying back in his chair. "My boyfriend thought it would be fun to see what I did when I lived here," I say. Josh gave me a half-smile with a hint of surprise, "You have a boyfriend now?" I nodded. Josh pressed a button to talk to his receptionist, "Lindsey, is there a boy in the waiting room?'

"Yes, sir."

"Bring him in."

"Josh, what are you doing?' I demanded.

"Just making sure if he is right for you," he smiled.

Oh crap, it's like what the diner family did to him. "Josh, don't, you don't have to," I pleaded, but he ignored me. Just then, Danny cane in, crap this is a little embarrassing having Josh wanting to talk to my boyfriend. "Please have a seat," Josh said, showing him the seat next to me. Danny looked at me with a little-worried expression on his face; I hold his hand as I think Josh notices. "So Ohad tells me you two are together."

"Yes, and you must be Mr. Diamond," Danny followed up with another question.

"I'll ask the questions here," Josh said with a stern look.

I rolled my eyes. "For crying out loud, Josh, can you stop? I like him."

"I'm just checking," he chuckled.

"Look, sir-"

"Mr. Diamond, please."

"Mr. Diamond, I like Ohad a lot, and I will protect him always; you have nothing to worry about."

Josh looked hesitant, not sure if he could trust Danny. "Look, Ohad is very special to me, and I will always protect him as well," Josh said, looking straight at me, but I looked down, trying not to notice. "So what are you two boys going to do in Philadelphia?" he asked. I looked up, preparing for what I'm about to say, "I'm taking Danny to Man Candy tonight."

"You're not going," Josh said with a hint of anger in his voice.

"Yes, I am," I protested.

"No, you're not; I won't allow it."

"Why not?"

"Because I'm trying to keep you safe."

"I've worked there for months, plus that's where we met," I reminded him.

I took a deep sigh. "I think we should get going, great seeing you again" we hugged tight, then took Danny's hand as we left the building.

"Danny, I'm sorry you had to see that," I apologized.

"Don't be; he is the owner of this building, right? and you mention that you met him at the place we are going tonight."

"Yeah, you'll understand once we get there. I can't believe Josh is doing it again."

"Again?" he questioned.

"It's nothing to worry about" I kissed him "Let's get back to the hotel and get ready."

Danny kissed me back as we walked back.
