In was a bright sunny day in the beautiful city of Seoul. Children were playing with their friends on the giant play structure, couples walking around the area while holding hands, elderly people sat on the soft wooden benches while admiring the flowers that bloomed in almost every direction.

A 7 year old boy held his mother's hand while walking to the park. His name was Jungkook. He had bunny like teeth and had his hair was styled to cover a bit of his eyes. His skinny build was covered with an Elmo t shirt and black shorts with tan strap on sandals. He smiled as his mom as she checked on her son. His older sister Somin was at soccer practice so it was just the two.

"Okay Jungkook. I'll be waiting right here. Now go on and have fun!" His mother gave him a small kiss on the forehead before ruffling his hair.

The little boy let out a small giggle as he went to his favourite part of the park, the sandbox. It want just because he got to play with sand, it was also because there were flowers next to the area. The bunny boy had always wanted to pick out the beautiful flowers to give to his mother as a gift, but he was not to sure if he was allowed.

'Just one little one won't hurt, wouldn't it?' He thought as his tiny hand reaches out for the pastel pink flower that he knew his mother would love.

His small and stubby fingers gently grasped the stem that held the beautiful flower. But what he didn't see was a dark shadow that was roaming around the park, looking for a certain someone or something. The shadow smirked and dashed towards the young boy, sneaking up from behind.

"Jungkook! Get out of there!" His mother screamed as she ran towards her son and quickly grabbed him.

The shadow scowled at the fact that the child had been out of his reach, and it couldn't afford to become exposed or start another scandal. So the shadow growled and flew away from the park. Jungkook's mother sighed in relief while putting down her son as she checked to see if he was alright, which thankfully he was.

"Mommy why are you scared?" Jungkook innocently asked, eyes confused.

"Honey, I will tell you when your old enough okay?" The mother asked with tears in her eyes, Jungkook instantly felt bad.

"Mommy don't cry, I'm sorry." He patted his mother's cheek.

"It's not your fault Jungkook ah... want to go home?" His mother asked while drying her tears, tear that she had not shed ever since the father had died the same way as Jungkook could have.

"Okay." He said without further complaints.

-----7 years later------

"Mom guess what?!" A 14 year old Jungkook bursted through the door with his phone in one hand and a opened letter.

"What happened sweetie?! Is everything alright?!" His mom rushed in with her apron and spoon filled with tomato sauce as she looked around.

Jungkook giggled softly. " No umma, I got accepted...."

His mother looked at him with wide eyes. "Really honey?"

"Yah! What's going on?" Somin ran downstairs to see what was going on.

"Kookie got accepted into BigHit!" His mother shouted in pure happiness.

"That's amazing Kookie!" The older girl ran to her younger brother and placed a kiss on his cheek.

"Thank you noona." He smiled in relief that both of the most important women in his life supported his decision on becoming a singer.
