Redeemers Part 2

As I'm slashing my sword killing each Oppressor who gets near and throwing poison into each cut I make. I notice that the waves just keep coming. I look beyond the horizon and each time I kill a few dozen more just come to replace them. An Oppressor comes at me and as I'm ready to swing the Oppressor falls to the floor with an arrow to his back. Behind him is Janice lowering her bow after shooting the Oppressor, "C'mon I had him." I complained.

"Too slow bro." Janice said shrugging her shoulders and jumping back into the fight throwing Oppressors into each other with telekinesis. I Jump right in going the opposite way getting the attention of around seven Oppressors. I try to do what Janice did a while ago and made spikes of ice swirl around me, I shot them out and hit three of them while the other spikes missed.

The other four slowly came towards me, as they came at me I still had my telekinesis holding onto the spikes that missed and I pulled them in hitting the backs of the Oppressors. Janice ran back into me and we both saw Kaira, Fray and Jo standing back-to-back and went to join them.

Jo introduces himself to Janice, saying, "Captain Cane, nice to meet you. Sorry it had to be like this."

"No worries. Thanks for coming. Jo right?"

"The one and only," He replies.

Suddenly, a purple energy field begins to form around us. Then, in front of that, a blue-silver energy field with striking patterns forms. I look back and see Kaira and Fray. Kaira's eyes glow purple, while Fray's mandala tattoos glow blue-silver. The Oppressors bombard us with elemental and energy-based attacks.

"I'll help out a bit," Tyler says, raising both his hands. The force field is reinforced by Tyler. Jo asks Rosha, "Hey sis, can you go supersonic?"

"I think so," she says holding her knees and breathing heavily, "Why?"

"Wait? You guys can go supersonic? Sweet!" I say impressed.

Jo points to the outskirts of the battlefield and says, "If both of us break the sound barrier and run across the battlefield, the sound waves that trail behind us will seriously do some damage to the Oppressors' ears. It'll leave them vulnerable."

"What about us?" Janice asks.

"The energy field should protect you guys. But just in case, cover your ears," Jo replies.

Jo grabs Rosha and teleports somewhere. "Cover your ears guys!" I yell out. Everyone does and gets ready for the impact. "GO!" we hear from the distance and see these two streaks of light coming towards the army.

I guess that's Jo and Rosha... Awesome.

As they get closer they break the sound barrier with a loud "BOOM!" and two cloudy rings. They run through the Oppressors knocking them into the air from the force of the sound waves.

As they pass by us the bubble we're in shakes from the force and we could still hear the muffled sound waves hitting the bubble. Janice yells out, "Now's our chance! Attack!!"

The Redeemers follow Janice into battle. They to their own battle cry and yell as they attack with their weapons and powers.

I look to Jo and ask, "Care to join?" as I fly into the fight. Thanks to Jo and Rosha they took out a good amount of the Oppressors, nearly all our allies except for Jo's team and mine are all back at the infirmary from the fight.

With all the Oppressors incapacitated, it's easier to take them out. With teamwork and effort, we dwindle the Oppressor army to a few dozen. Right as we're about to finish the rest of them off, we see it.

Flying through the air in a large leap, a shadowy figure comes right towards us.

"Get back!" Janice yells.
