"Are you sure you're okay with this?" Hidan asked, opening the front door of the house. You nodded and said," yes...I want to finally meet the leader of your organization and maybe even...join." You were talking about the Akatsuki. A few days had passed since you went through with your conversion ritual and made sweet love to Hidan, and it was time for him to return to work. With not much else to do, you decided to try and join the organization yourself.
Hidan had explained what exactly what the Akatsuki was many times to you. "The main goal is something stupid I think....world peace I guess, which is a bunch of bullshit. We're all in it for ourselves. My partner, Kakuzu, is in it for the bounties and money....blasphemous asshole...I'm in it cause they provide me with protection to freely make sacrifices as I please! Everyone else....eh, they're all freaks and mysteries and I'm not quite sure what it is they want, but the point is that we're doing big things for the world," he had told you. You knew that what you were getting into was much bigger than anything you'd ever been involved in before, and you couldn't be quite sure as to what was gonna happen when you met their leader, but having Hidan by your side gave you confidence. You and Hidan stepped out of the house and began the long trek to one of the Akatsuki's hideouts. The one you were headed to was the one in the Land of Rivers, where they were planning to meet in a few hours. Along the way, you thought about what exactly is was that you had to offer for the organization. Although you were well on your way to being one as a newly converted Jashin, you certainly weren't a killer. Your skills as a ninja were average, but not weak, and you didn't have a lot of information to share with them either. The only thing you were exceptional at was cooking, but...what all could you do with that? Feed the Akatsuki's enemies to death?
As you got lost in your thoughts, Hidan drew closer to you, tensing up just a bit. "We're close..." he said, his voice in a whisper. You heard something rustling in the trees behind you and heard a familiar voice say, "Ah Hidan, you finally decided to drag yourself back here. And you brought your little play-thing with you. I thought your useless religion was against half killing." Hidan's partner that you had previously met emerged from the woods. You took a step back, a bit scared that Kakuzu was approaching you, but Hidan eased your fears when he stood between him and you. "Kakuzu, shut the hell up," he growled, spitting in Kakuzu's direction, "this one has made an impressive convert and I know she'll go far." The feeling of tenseness in the air thickened when Kakuzu rolled his eyes and produced a large briefcase from his cloak. It looked heavy and you got scared again when you realized his intentions were that of hostility. "And what made you think it was a good idea to bring her here, you idiot? Did you ever think she could be a spy?" He stepped closer, glaring at Hidan. With one smooth motion, Hidan wrapped his arm around you and brought you close to his side, letting out a chuckle. "(Y/n)'s not a spy, I can assure you of that. If she was, she would be dead by now. Isn't that right, my little kitten?"
You blushed despite the dire nature of the situation and nodded. Kakuzu's eyes widened. "My god, I can't believe it. You've gotten yourself a girlfriend haven't you, Hidan?" He said in complete shock. Your face reddened even more when you realized that, well...you were KIND OF his girlfriend in a way..."That's none of your damn business," Hidan replied bluntly, "and she's mine anyway, so don't get any ideas."
Kakuzu shrugged and eased up a bit. "Whatever you say, but if you're wrong about her, it'll be your funeral. This time I'm gonna kill you for sure, and I'll send her to hell with you." He turned around and placed his hand on a large boulder, which rumbled before a passageway appeared in its surface. Chills were sent down your back when you thought about how dangerous Kakuzu was, but you remembered that you had immortality on your side. Hidan glanced down at you a smirked. "They're just words, he's a pussy and won't do anything to you. Now stay behind me," he said, entering the passageway after Kakazu. The hall was cold, dark, and damp. As you walked in deeper, you could begin to hear the sound of rushing water and the air became fresher. Soon, you could hear voices; there were others here. You got goosebumps, not knowing what you were up against and gulped. Hidan heard and chuckled under his breath a little. He was perfectly nonchalant, but then again, he was always like then when it came to serious things.
You could see a faint blue light at the end of the passageway, and the voices grew louder. There was a woman's and man's voice. Kakuzu said gruffly, "last chance to turn back, (y/n). Make one mistake and our boss will have you dead before you can blink." You squeezed Hidan's wrist and thought to yourself. So much had happened in the past week and you made it this far, so you might as well keep going. The three of you emerged from the passageway into a dimly lit cave, lit by fire. Pools of water scattered the cave's floor and drops of it came down from the roof. Sure enough, there were two people in the cave standing before. One, a tall man with spiked orange hair and a face full of piercings. The other, a woman, her blue hair partially tied up in a bun with a white paper flower. They were both wearing Akatsuki cloaks; black with red and white clouds. The two of them turned to you, staring right past Hidan and Kakazu.
"Who the hell is that?" the woman asked, her voice cool with a bit of an edge. "Hidan, Kakazu..." the man started, stepping forward, "who is this you've brought along?" Kakazu shrugged and moved aside. "Don't blame me, I have no idea. She is Hidan's." The orange haired man's eyes darted to Hidan and he asked, "well Hidan? Explain now or I will dispose of her."
