Bearer's POV

Once my butt was in the chair... nothin happened. I shrug, get up and walk back down the hallway. Everything was still the same as when I last saw it. That girl was still sleeping on the floor and no one else was anywhere to be seen. I walk up to the window near the door and look out. I see a person outside. Strolling down the street. They didn't look familiar so it couldn't be us. They stop walking and scan the area. Right before they turn towards me, I duck out of the way. I don't know them and I don't want them to know where I am. After a few minutes of waiting in silence, I cautiously peak out of the window. I see them further down the street, strolling like before. I watch them until their figure is out of sight.

By the time I look back in the room, there's a person sitting on the rug, staring at me. I jump at the sight of them. I exhale and put a hand over my heart in a dramatic way. They sit there with a wide grin on their face the entire time. "When did you get there?" I ask in hushed voice. They don't say anything as they smile and stare. Creepy. Very creepy. That girl from before groggily sits up and rubs the sleep out of her eyes. "Larmalade, don't scare her like that." She says with a yawn and a stretch. "Oh come on, that was funny." He breaks his stare to turn at the girl and laugh. I cross my arms and lean against the wall. The other two girls walk in with bags of *ish in their arms.

They drop everything on the rug and begin to sort them into groups and categories.
Food. Medicine. Possible weapons. Etc. There's not much in medicine and possible weapons. However, there are a lot of freeze dried packages and cans. All that we have for medicine is a first aid kit and a little bit of gauze. We got three kitchen knives and a fork for possible weapons. Better than nothing, though I don't know why we would need any weapons for. I sit there patiently, waiting to see what they would do next. They all look at each other and talk about rationing out items. I zone out and stare at the carpet blankly. I feel a tingling sensation in my left hand. I close it into a fist and release. I do that a few times but the sensation doesn't go away. "...what do you think?" "Huh?" I snap my head up when I hear a voice talk to me. They all stare at me. I get nervous under their gazes so I look away and timidly mumble a "I don't know."

Luckily, they don't bother me anymore. They just keep on talking and talking. I relax when they don't question me again. I just sit there and focus on the tingling on my palm. It's oddly soothing. After a while, they hand me a can and a plastic spoon. We can't use the fork since it is now considered a weapon. Anyways, it's time for brunch. I got corn. I'm not complaining, considering the only guy got canned spam. I eat my corn silently while everyone else is talking and laughing. It's nice to know they can be all friendly and carefree despite everything we have seen.

Everything... we have... s-seen... Wait, what? All we've seen so far is empty streets and bloody walls, that's hardly anything! So why? Why am I getting images of mutilated and grotesque corpses in my head. Their so vivid that they must have been real! But how and when? I don't know! Ugh this is all so confusing, and I'm starting to get a headache. Why? Why can't I remember? What did I do to deserve memory loss? I shake my head and shovel down the corn. Once I'm done I set down my can and head towards the chair room in the hallway. I need to think.

Guardian's POV

While we were all joking around and eating our food, I notice Gaby staring off into space. Before I can even say anything, she just shakes her head and eats her food. Everyone else doesn't seem to notice this considering all the penis jokes being made. After Gaby finishes her food she sea down the can and abruptly stands up. We look all look at her but I don't think she notices. She walks around us and down the hall to the very last room. The door shuts behind her and with that she is gone. "Ok?" I hear Bobo say. "That was random." She continues. Larry shrugs and everyone returns to eating, while I still stare down the hall with worry in my eyes. I sigh and turn back to my can of ravioli. It's not that bad actually. I poke at my food.

I can't believe she doesn't remember anything. All of our good times together. The jokes. The laughs. All gone. I sigh and set down my food. I stand up and mumble an excuse before leaving down the hall and into a side room. I close the door behind me and flick in the light. Still works. I'm in the bathroom. I sit on the toilet and put my head in my hands. Memories flash through my head. A bittersweet smile makes its way into my face. Well, they're not completely gone. I'll make sure to keep these memories alive. I look up with a confident smile. My stomach growls abruptly. I put a hand on my belly and remember my half eaten can of ravioli. My eyes widen as I race out the door. "No one better have eaten my damn ravioli while I was gone!" I scream out while running towards the group. They all scream when I jump at them.
