Alec's pov
The sunlight beamed through the white blinds, presenting the morning sun against my face. I hear a soft knock in my door . I stand up to open it & the redhead invites herself in
"How are you feeling "I smile
She smiles & says "better "
"I wanted to ask you if you can train with me or rather help me train "she says as pink spreads through her cheeks .
I knew she didn't love me , but i couldn't resist. I leaned in a little closer, She inhaled sharply & i kissed her,her lips were warm and tasted of strawberry ,my brain felt like it lit on fire and the warmth spreading to my body.
We stoped kissing but all I could hear was her sweet, joyful laughter
"What? Why are you laughing !!?"I said nervously .
My hand reaches for her but I stop .
she grins
"O-okay I will train with you ,met me in the training room in 10 mins"
"Okay Alec thanks " she says while leaving .
....
10 mins pass
I walk to the training room & see the redhead looking at all seraph blades,swords & daggers
I stand behind her & whisper in her ear "Having fun " the blade clatter from her fingers to the floor .
"Really I could of cut off my foot " clary says clearly angry
I laugh "but did it happen ? "
I grab a witch light & put it clary's hand
"Here every shadowhunter needs a witch light "I smile
clary smiled softly she lighted up the whole training room with that smile "really this is a nice rock .thank yo-"
"CLARY !,ALEC " izzy came running to us holding a fire message
"What's wrong izzy?"i said looking at her with concern
"The vampires have kidnap Simon !they said turn in the mortal cup or he's death man !"izzy said with a flash of shock and dread.
I felt clary tense beside me
"Ohh no simon! This is all my fault , if if I hav-" clary said when jace came in
"Less talking & more action mundane " said jace while putting blades in his weapon belt
"I have never seen you two so worried about a mundane before."I said while grabbing my bow
Jace blushed & izzy calmly said "big bro ,this is our job anyways this clary's boy we talking about"
"Well..he's not anymore but he is still my best friend"
I smile &then regret it .3 pairs of eyes stare at me in curiosity I feel the heat growing in my cheeks

We stand looking at the big hotel
"Durmort.."the redhead whispers
We find an easy entrance like if they have expected us to be here.i glace to the side & see clary's hand shaking
Izzy notices what I'm staring at &She gives me a wicked grin
"It's okay clary don't get nervous it's in your blood"Izzy smiles at clary
"Thanks Izzy "clary sighs
As soon as we go in there's complete mess ,The chalky paint fell in fragments .
"Draw the nightvision rune"I whisper
As I draw mines,the burning pain always calms me. As we walk up the stairs .we see a body hanging in ropes
Clary takes out the witch light & aluminates the place .i freeze as I recognize the person who's hanging
"Simon!"clary screams as she runs up to where he is
"C-clary " Simon says weakly
"Alec hurry up i need your help cutting the ropes!" Jace says as he cheeks on Simon .I realize jace feels something for him. we grab him and help him stand up"thank you guy-"clary comes up to him embraces him in a hug .
"Oh Simon if something had happen to you I could of had die ."
"I love you clary"
"I love you too Simon"
"Simon are you oka-"
I feel a spark of jealousy ,I shake that thought away ."sorry to interrupt your little reunion but we need to leave or we are going to be dinner"
Clary pov
Seeing Simon like that makes me want to destroy anyone that dares to hurt him. A boy  jumps out of nowhere
"Hey que pasa ?where are you taking my prisoner ?"the boy says as he plays with his cross necklace .as soon as he says that other vampires stand-behind
Him.
"Back off "I say
Alec,Izzy and jace look ready to fight
"Raphael" Izzy says
"Look shadowhunter i wasn't the one who kidnap you mundane boyfriend it was Camille. You can leave in a good way just give us the cup."
"I don't have the damn cup! " as soon as I said that the vampires come into us
"Clary run & take Simon outside no one will dare to kill you if you are in the sun" in a flash of a second all I see is Izzy throw her whip around the vampire neck "let us go or I will kill Raphael .i know he's important to y'all"
She's a badass !wow clary stop this is something serious
"Let them go &let this one be the last time I see you"Raphael said
he said that , I was running  & of course jace was helping me with Simon.
   ...
As soon as we got to the institute we took Simon to the infirmary. He was in deep sleep .His features were much softer in sleep, the lines that usually creased his brow replaced by the youthful boy I saw everyday at my house .He looked peaceful.i wish we went back to that time but now I have Alec too.
"You need to rest i can look after the best friend " Izzy said giving me a soft smile
I smiled & hug her "thanks izzy ,thanks for everything"
