ALEC'S POV
"Clary where the hell are you going ?" I said while chasing after the redhead
"We need to go to my old apartment alec. The mortal cup is there. I saw in the visions the angel gave me   " clary said I stoped walking abruptly
" WHAT? YOU NEVER THINK
CLARY! YOU NEVER THINK ! WE NEED TO TELL THE CLAVE! ABOUT THIS "
" I DONT CARE BOUT THE DAMN CLAVE ALEC! "
" YOU HAVE BEEN HERE FOR A MONTH & YOU THINK YOU CAN OVERCOME ANYTHING BUT NO CLARY YOU CANT. YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO FOLLOW THE RULES, YOU DONT BELONG HERE! & IF YOU NEVER LEARN HOW TO ,YOU NEVER WILL!"
as soon as I realized what I said & looked down at clary .
"L-look I'm sorry ,I-i-i just "
As I saw clary's nose grow very red at the tip; then, she bites her lips as to hold her tears in. Her emerald eyes looked as if I have stab her in the heart . "Please say you didn't mean that " they said. Then the smooth spheres appeared to be cracked; her green eyes had started to leak, little water droplets streamed down Clary's rosy cheeks.
"You're an idiot " the green eyed girl said before running off.
CLARY POV
Shadowhunters are tougher & they don't show emotion & here I'm crying my eyes out . Alec was right I don't belong here.
" MOM ! MOM ! I need you! ..." I yelled inside the empty apartment that I once called home.
My bedroom was a mess everything was in ashes. Suddenly my head felt like I was spinning. Memories of my mother drawing In the tarot cards, mother covering her runes with makeup foundation & finally the card with the mortal cup in it . My red hair was wet with sweat . I know where my mother used to hides the cards. I took my mother's cooking book from the dusty shelf as I grab it bunch of cards fall out of it.
The mortal cup i bend down to grab the delicate thin card. It's so fascinating how my mother used so much detail into this card.
"Clarissa where are you ? " I hear a familiar voice saying .
" Alec ? Is that you ?" I went Running to the living room putting the card inside my leather jacket .
I saw Alec standing in the middle of the room he was so tall . He smiled & started walking toward me. My heart fluttered.
"Alec I foun-"
" the mortal cup?"
I nodded
" good girl " he said while a cruel smile formed in his face . The blue eyed boy pulled his stele out tracing his shape shifter rune reveling an older shadowhunter.
"Valentine."my voice echoing through the room.
"My beloved daughter " valentine said taking a step closer to me .
" give me my mortal cup or else "
" or else what you are going to kidnap me like you did with my mother ?" I asked not letting my nervous get the best of me . 
Alec please come help me !!
"Bring me the boy " two shadowhunters were pushing Alec .
" LEAVE CLARY OUT OF THIS! " Alec said while fighting to get out of the shadowhunters grib.
Alec & I looked at each other, blue & green eyes staring. It felt like we were communicating just by looking at each other and I knew what to do.
"Valentine I will give you the cup but promise me you won't hurt Alec or my mom" I said pleading. He looked pleased. Disgusting!
I took steps forward & I punched him,
I grabbed him by the collar of his jacket .   threatening him to slide is throat open  with my seraph blade .
"Wow my little daughter knows how to fight" he said laughing . I try my hardest to hold him tight .
" let the pretty boy go . I will come back for you,and the cup daughter " the circle let go of Alec . I didn't even see when Alec shot two arrows at them Knocking them down to the ground. I don't know if they were death or unconscious.He pointed back to valentines letting a arrow sink into his chest . I dropped valentine & pulled out my stele forming a new rune that I didn't even know but it's was calling me . Wind started to knock out my belongings when a gold portal appeared valentine & Alec  gasped . I started thinking about the institute grabbed Alec hands and throw myself in it.  Finally we were in the stairs of the institute. Alec was standing up & started walking towards me with a stupid beautiful grin on his face .
" clary we need to talk about earlier " Alec said worried
" it doesn't matter " I said turning away from him & walking back to my room.
I felt his eyes cutting into me . I wanted to run back to him but what he said was brutal of him. I left him standing alone in the stairs.
I jumped to my bed and took out the card . I try to put my hand inside but I couldn't ." UGH what's wrong with this ! " I said throwing the card in the ground.
" okay focus clary . Relax ... I can't... alec is where I find myself ! "
ALEC POV
I saw as the short redhead left. I couldn't blame her . I was to hard on her . Without thinking I went up stairs infront of her door I didn't know weather to knock or give her some time.  Suddenly the door opens and  a soft force pulls me inside. clary faces me with a angry pout on her beautiful face .
" I'm sorry clary . I feel like I always hurt the ones who love or I can't make them proud "
"You're an idiot. You are lucky that I love you " she said smiling. her breath taking smile. 
"I-i love you too clary . I love you more than life itself!"  I touched her cheek and she leaned over to my touch closing her eyes . I leaned over and  bended down & gave her a peck on the lips. Pink was spreading through her face . She opened her eyes and said
"Stay with me "
