Emma watched as Regina walked away with her head down. She had a feeling that she had began crying, so Emma decided to catch up with her. Regina looked over at Emma and raised her eyebrow. "What are you doing over here?" Emma smiled at her. "It's New Year's Eve. Nobody should be alone."

Regina smiled brightly at Emma, which, shockingly, sort of warmed up Emma's heart. "So, to your house Madame Mayor?" Emma asked and looked in the direction of the Mayor's Mansion. Regina smiled a bit at her and nodded her head a bit. "Sure, that's- fine with me." As the two women began walking over to the house, the weather changed drastically as it began to rain heavily. Emma noticed that Regina didn't have a coat, so she took off her signature red leather jacket and wrapped it around the shivering brunette. 'Should I say something? Do I give it back?' Several thoughts ran through Regina's head as she clung onto the jacket to keep it from falling. "We should probably hurry and get out of this rain." Emma said to Regina.
