As Emma and Regina went downstairs, the former mayor turned on her tv to New Year's Eve special. "Alright, I'll get some glasses and some cider.... Or would you prefer wine?" Emma smirked and shrugged a bit. "Got anything stronger?" Regina smiled as she heard these words, thinking back to the day when she had first met Emma. As they went into the kitchen, Emma stopped in the hall and looked at a picture of Regina and Henry together. "You really care about him don't you Regina?" Regina stopped pouring the cider in her glass and turned her head in the direction of Emma. "With all my heart. I would sacrifice myself for him, if any harm ever came to him.... I don't know how I would be able to live with myself. Henry is all that matters to me, Henry is everything to me. I would gladly take the heart of anyone who ever dared to hurt him, I would jump in front of a bullet for him, it would tear me apart if I ever lost him." Emma smiled at Regina and walked into the kitchen before she noticed a tear fall from her face. As she saw the tear, she opened up her arms and closed them around Regina, hugging her. Emma looked at Regina before wiping away her tear. Regina stared into her eyes before smiling at her. "T-thank you Miss Swan." Emma smiled at her "I think you can call me Emma, Madame Mayor. It seems like we're close enough to do that now." Regina smiled at her before speaking. "It does seem like that. By all means, please call me by my name." "Alright, Regina."
