Christmas day:

Erin woke up on this festive morning on Jay's chest. She had laid there listening to his steady breathing syncing with his beating heart and thought about them two together. Her thoughts came to a close as Jay began to kiss her head.

"Merry Christmas, babe." He said in a deep morning voice.

"Merry Christmas, Jay." She replied, sitting up to give him a kiss. She kissed him, not even regarding the fact that they both had morning breath, but she didn't care because it was christmas and she was spending it with the man she loves.

Jay had made them breakfast and they had sat down to eat. After they finished, the two had sat next to the tall, decorated pine tree to open their presents.

"I'll go first." jay said handing her a large box. She opened it to reveal another box with a note taped to it. It read " be patient my love." She smirked at jay and kept opening the boxes. One after the other was the same, it's just the boxes were getting smaller. When she finally got to the last one, she read a letter that said "Turn around." She had gone and turned to face Jay. She revealed that he was holding the gift in his hand and was kneeling on one knee.

"HH-" erin was cut off jay.

"Er, I have taken the time to build up the courage to ask you this, so here goes...

Erin Lindsay, will you marry me? I know we've only been dating officially for almost a year and a half but-" He was then cut off by the glee of Erin's voice.

"Yes! Yes. Yes. Yes!" Erin stated. He smiled at her then stood up to kiss her. They were passionately kissing for while until Erin interrupted.

"Wait! I need you to open your gift now." She said letting go of his grasp. She went to the tree and picked up a rectangular box. She handed the box to Jay and smiled. He looked at her and opened it. It revealed a positive pregnancy stick.

"Er. Is this right? You're having a baby? Jay said happily.

"Nope. We're having a baby!" She said leading him on. He jumped up and hugged and kissed his now Fiance.

In the car to Hank's house.

"So what did you get Voight for the holiday?" Jay asked erin

" We got him a mug with "world's best grandpa" on it with an ultrasound picture inside." Erin replied to Jay emphasizing the we. They drove until they had reached Voight's home. Erin went to open the door of the car but was stopped by JAy opening it for her.

"What was that for?" Erin said smirking as she stood up.

"Just feeling like a gentleman." Jay chuckled, wrapping his arm around Erin as they walked up to the front door. They rang the doorbell until Voight arrived at it.

"I told you carolers to stop coming to my hou-. Hey Erin, Halstead you're here. Come in." Hank said joyfully. The two walked in and took off their coats then sat down for dinner.

As they finished dinner they move over to the living room, where they handed out gifts. Hank handed Erin a wrapped box. She opened it to reveal pots and pans.

"Mmh, pans, why may I ask." Erin said confused.

"I got you these because you need to learn how to cook. You and Jay can't live off of frozen dinners any more, it's just not healthy." Hank said as the words just rolled off his tongue like poetry. Erin went to talk when Jay cut her off.

"We love it Hank, we really do." Jay said as Erin nodded in agreement.

"Well, where is my gift?" Hank asked sweetly.

"Oh here." Erin said handing him the gift. He opened the gift, grabbing the mug.

"World's Best Grandpa. This is for me?" Hank asked. Erin nodded her head and signaled him to look at the rest. Hank look at the photo inside of the mug.

"You two are having a baby?" Hank raspily question them.

"Yeah we are." Jay said smiling.
