"it has been a month and no sign of Amanda." Erin whispered to herself at her desk. Since she was stuck on desk duty for the next three months she would've had found something to do , and that thing so far was finding the lunatic who tried to kill her. She was scrolling on her monitor for close by Amanda Greenlees in the area, when Jay popped into the Bullpen.

"How is my girl and our baby?" He said leaning down to kiss her.

"We're good and we're hungry." she said turning in her chair.

"Well what' this?" Jay smirked while turning the monitor on the desk.

"It's nothing, I was just-" She was cut off by the slight anger in Jay's voice.

"Er, What are you doing? I said I would take care of it." He repeated himself from before slowly softening his voice. He cupped he face signaling her to fess up. She laid her head down on his hand for support and slowly teared up.

"It's just... it's just that i'm stuck here all alone all freaking day while you guys are ed doing what you love. The only perk of sitting on my ass all day, is that I get paid for it." Lindsay said spilling all her feelings to Jay.

"You're going to be fine and if you want, I could take you out to get some food so you're here all day. Plus, you need fresh air, you are getting a little too stir crazy for my liking." He said comforting her into a laugh. She gave him the signature "Erin Lindsay" eyebrow and grabbed her coat.

They pulled into the drive thru of Crisp's restaurant. Jay ordered their food and handed it to Erin.

"You know I love a combo." Erin said thanking Jay.

"Er, You see that smoke?" Jay sounded worried pulling out of the parking lot. He merged lanes and something blew up, coming from the same direction of the smoke.

He quickly turned on the police lights on and began speeding to the scene. Erin called in the report.

"21-25, We have 10-80, on 42 and 2nd, send help!" Erin yelled softly into the scanner. She was sort of happy that she was getting live action for once in these last few weeks. They arrived to the scene, they both rushed out of the car to inspect the crime. Erin ran over to a women weeping on the ground.

"Maim, are you okay?" Erin said to the woman, but she was unresponsive.

"Jay!" She signaled Jay to come over. "She's unresponsive but has a pulse." Erin said sternly as the paramedics pulled up. After the lady's body was brought up into the ambulance, intelligence showed up.

"Halstead, Lindsay, go back to the district." Hank ordered. Erin went to retaliate but Jay dragged her to the truck.

Later at the district...

"Lindsay, what did you find?" Hank asked in his deep, raspy voice. Erin popped her baby bump out of the chair first, then pulled the rest of her body out with it.

"Olivia Wolfe, 26." Erin said putting her picture on the board. "She passed away in med 15 minutes ago. So now we are dealing with a homicide." Erin stated then sat down. Hank signal Burgess to go up. She put her information up then the day was over.

At Halstead and Lindsay's apartment.

"So, when are we going to, you know... tie the knot?" Jay asked.

"I don't know. When do you want to get married?" Erin brought up the fact that it was his idea to propose and they needed to agree on when it took place.

"Maybe in april." Jay suggested.

"Ok, April it is. We'll send invitations out tomorrow." Erin said cupping Jay's face with one hand.
