"..jimin?"

the two stood in awe. neither of them had time to process anything. all they knew was that jimin was standing infront of them, figure translucent & unreal. was it? was it real? jungkook didn't know what to be more shocked about, that fact that jimin was standing right infront of them, or that taehyung had finally spoken for the first time in 8 years.

jimin tilted his head & smiled. "you've grown. i miss you both, so so much."

jungkook fell to his knees, not being able to handle the weight of his heart anymore. taehyung could only shake.

wh-why does jimin look like that?

don't tell me he-

he died, taehyung.

"& it's all my fault." soft sobs escaped his mouth as his voice breaks.

jimin squatted down to look at jungkook. "it's not your fault, jungkook. we weren't careful. you all really should be more cautious, not less." he looked at jungkook as he appeared pale & lifeless compared to the actual dead spirit of his best friend infront of him.

he stood up & turned to taehyung, "i truly wished i could have spent more time with you. after that day our lives took a sudden turn.." the two couldn't stop crying. "come on now. i may be dead but i'm not gone. but i have something important to tell you two, so get the fuck up & stop crying."

the two wiped their tears & held each other's hands for support. jimin smiled, "aren't you two adorable. you may be wondering how the other knows me but worry about that later."

taehyung nodded & jungkook looked down in shame. "everyone's fates lie in your hands." they said nothing. "everyone is headed down a dark, depressing fucking path. you may think it's bad now, but you have no idea. that's why i need you two to do me a favor."

"it's said that when soulmates reach a certain level of emotion, they may develop the ability to speak telepathically speak, or fate will force them together no matter what." the two tensed up, was what he was saying true? does that mean they really are? soulmates?

"you have to stop the others from what they're planning. if you don't, well. you may never see any of us ever again." jungkook's chest tightened. there was too much going on, but all of it was true. painfully true.

"isn't it funny? how we're all connected?" jimin giggled. oh, how jungkook wanted to see those cresent eyes one more time. taehyung replayed memories of jimin laughing as a child.

"please don't be upset. i'll be by your side when life is not. i'll always be watching, but remember. two souls of a flame cannot be beaten, or at least that's what namjoon would say."

"you don't have time to waste." with that jimin smiled & turned, walking away into nothingness. as he vanished, jungkook finds himself feeling weak & faints into taehyung's arms.

jungkook?

he shakes him, but gets no responce.

jungkookie?

jungkook wake up please.

"j-jyung..k-kooohkk?" he muttered out. he couldn't believe he spoke twice in one day.

he sighed & he sighed & brushed the hair out of jungkook's face, smirking at how beautiful the boy looks, even while sick. he picked the other up bridal style & began walking, not caring if anyone gave them strange looks. he didn't know where he lived, so he figured he'd take him back to his place.
