"A pastel pink flower crown when I started falling in love with him."
_
-A month later-
"Good morning!" a chirpy Chanyeol greeted.
"M-Morning," Jongdae replied, fixing his flower crown as he looked at his reflection in the mirror he'd placed in his locker.
The taller watched him, suddenly taking note of the smaller's pale, yet soft, skin, soft brown hair and oversized sweaters, not to forget the pretty pink flower crown resting on his head.
Chanyeol's mouth went dry and his heartbeat sped up as those doe eyes looked up at him. The former's gaze travelled from the smaller's eyes to his lips.
Instinctively, he leaned down and captured the smaller's lips in his.
_
Jongdae tugged on Chanyeol's sleeve, biting his lip. The giant turned to him, smiling brightly.
The giant's heartbeat sped up quickly at Jongdae's actions.
But then again, his heartbeat sped up at everything Jongdae did. Even the thought of him.
_
Chanyeol intertwined his and Jongdae's fingers as he led the latter to the door. "Goodbye, Dae. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay," Jongdae reluctantly let go of Chanyeol's hand.
Chanyeol walked home once Jongdae had closed the door. He kept remembering what happened after the kiss. He clutched his cheek and wondered if the red mark was still there.
Jongdae pulled away and slapped Chanyeol's cheek in shock, eyes widening when he came to a realization of what he'd just done.
He gasped before standing on his tip-toes and peppering the cheek he'd slapped with kisses.
"Mommy said kisses always make things better. I'm sorry, Channie," he apologized.
"It's fine."
The giant remembered the soft feeling of the smaller's chapped lips. He lied down on his bed happily. He kept wondering why his heart was beating so quickly and why his cheeks felt hot.
Worriedly, he called his best friend, Luhan.
"Chanyeol, it's nothing horrible!"
"Nothing horrible?!"
"Well, it might be horrible if it goes wrong. But I'm so proud of you!"
"Why?!"
"My giant baby is finally in love!"
Chanyeol hung up with a sigh. He started taking Luhan's words into consideration. What if Luhan was right?
