Dear Diary
As promised I'm going to tell you what happened last night. Dad cooked lasagna as I said and it was so much better then usual. Mika ate way too much so ended up napping while I was away with Rex. About an hour after dinner Rex picked me up and we went to the movies.
While waiting on the movie to start we gave each other our presents. Not that I expected him to get me anything seeing as he paid for both of our tickets for the movies. We must really think alike though cause he gave me a necklace with a wolf charm like the one I got him and the necklace is a braided leather cord just like the one I braided him for his bracelet. We just laughed we when saw the gifts and he said "great minds think alike" which made us laugh even more.
Another example of us thinking alike was when he asked which movie I wanted to see and I said we should both say what movie we wanted to see at the same time and we both said The Woodsman. Which made us laugh all over again to the point where I was crying(happy tears). Rex wiped a tear away off my cheek while looking into my eyes and said "You look beautiful when your happy," which made me blush.
After a little bit of awkwardness I hugged him and said "Thanks your not so bad yourself." Which set us off laughing again. Is it weird that at that moment I started to have feelings for him? It's still to soon for me to even think of guys that way but Rex is a real catch now that I know him better. He drives and owns his own car, which is weird for a guy who today only just turned 16(as I said when I meet him and Miles, I'm a year older, not that it matters) but he only has his own car because he works with his brother in their family business which is a car garage(he's an apprentice mechanic).
Also as I've mentioned before he lives with his older brother, which I found out they own the house, well his parents do, they live in America now running a car garage over there, his dad is the head mechanic and his mum does the books and that. So he has his life sorted pretty much sorted already unlike Jace.
Anyways after the movie, which was awesome by the way, Rex took me to McDonald's for an ice-cream sundae. While we were there he got all quite and kept opening and closing his mouth like he wanted to say something. So after awhile I asked what was wrong. He said he wanted to say something but wasn't sure if he should. I just told him to spit it out I wouldn't laugh or anything. He then told me that he really likes me and had ever since meeting me at Jace's but he knew that it was probably to soon after the break up for me to even consider dating him or anyone for that matter.
After a bit of thought I told him he's a really great guy and that I like him too but as he mentioned it was too soon but I would think about it seeing as he has been really sweet to me. He smiled at that and said "Well that went better then I thought," grinning more he said "You know you deserve better then what Jace did to you. If you ever need anything or someone other then Mika to talk to I'm just a text away, no matter the time" of course I just smiled, went red and softly said thanks.
After the ice-cream we felt rather bloated and decided to go the Queen's Park. We walked right round the park a few times. I started to get cold cause of course I didn't take a jacket cause I wasn't expecting the chill. Rex noticed right away and un-zipped his hoodie and told me to wear it. After another walk round the park, he decided it was time to go home seeing as I had Mika over.
Once he dropped me at home, Dad offered for him to come in for a coffee or something but he said he had some work to go over for his apprenticeship and said he would catch up with me another time. Dad said if he needed anything not to be shy in asking seeing as Dad used to work as a mechanic too. Rex said thanks and left.
I went to my room and Mika was waiting for all the goss lol typical. After telling her everything she said I was so lucky coz Rex is a real sweetie and she laughed when I told her how much we were alike. Now we are watching a repeat of Friends well obviously I'm not cause I'm writing this. I guess that's about all I have to say right now I should really be social and watch tv with Mika.
