Chapter Nineteen

Dear Diary

I'm now 12 weeks pregnant and I'm all moved into Rex's place, luckily it's a four bedroom place. There's mine and Rex's room, Ronnie and Roxie's room and a room  for the baby upstairs and. a guest room downstairs. Roxie is super cool she is taking a fashion design course at uni and is using me as her model for her assignment which is designing a range of clothes and she's decided to design a maternity range :D I have my second mid-wife visit in an hour and we get to listen to the heart beat this time, I can't wait.

Dad is still in a coma, I hope he wakes up soon it's going to be such a shock to him if he wakes up when I'm showing more, one day I'm just his innocent daughter the next I'm pregnant, not cool. I'm sure he will be fine but I don't know, at least I won't need to lie about how it happened I can just say that Rex and I had sex after I moved in with him. Which isn't entirely a lie we kinda did it the other night it was kinda an accident I didn't plan it anyway but it was really nice. As corny as it sounds it felt right and I feel so much closer to him now. Our relationship is going really well, we've seen Jace a few times and he noticed the slight baby bump but hasn't said anything thankfully.

Shelley still can't be found and to be honest I don't care, if she really loved Dad she would be here. Her Mum said she would tell her about Dad but even she hasn't heard from her though I think she maybe lying. Oh well I have better things to worry about other then her. Oh better go the mid-wife is here.

Wow that was amazing, we just heard the baby's heart beating and both Rex and I ended up with tears in our eyes. He's really liking this pregnancy stuff, my throwing up has ended now but all I wanna do most days is sleep and eat, doesn't matter to much seeing as he's at work 3-4 days a week. But because Ronnie is his boss he lets him have time off when I need him. The mid-wife says that the tiredness is because my iron levels are low and I need to take iron pills until the levels go up which maybe a few weeks to a few months. I have my first scan booked for when I'm 19 weeks and we should be able to find out whether I'm having a girl or a boy.

Rex and I have been talking about names I told him he can pick out the boys name and I can pick out a girls name, because Mika and Miles have been so good to us we decided to use their names as middle names. With Mika being a unisex name we are using her name for both and Mile's middle name as the girls well the female version that is. The names are Cadin, Mika Miles for the boy and Daisy, Mika Michelle for a girl.

Dear Diary

So in an hour I have my scan....yes I haven't written anything in 7 weeks but I've been tired and busy lol but here I am once again writing. I just had to drink a lot of water and kinda need to pee but not badly and I'm meant to hold it till after the scan so this could be interesting. Rex is at work right now but Roxie is here she only has uni in the afternoon today, she's busy sketching some ideas for her assignment. So far she has designed a cute purple dress that has spaghetti straps and is cinched in under the bust but flows down the front so it kinda hides the baby bump which I now have. It's still little but I'm liking it. The mid-wife said we will be able to feel the baby kicking soon and that I would start leaking soon. Leaking as in I will start producing colostrum or however it's spelt which is the before breast milk stuff. 

I started setting up the baby's room, just put the few things away in the drawers and set up the changing table that Mika, Miles, Ronnie and Roxie all paid for. They also brought a couple packs of nappies and baby wipes. Oh also Rex has set up the cot that he paid off last week and we will be going shopping again after we find out whether the baby is a boy or girl. So I'm going to go make the bed up, I know it's awhile off before the baby will be in it but I haven't much else to do till Rex gets home and we go to the scan.

Later.....

Well I managed to hold off peeing till after the scan and we are having a boy!!!! Once again Rex and I got teary eyed. We got some photos of the scan to show everyone, it seems so much more real now. After the scan Rex took me to the hospital to see how Dad is and got some good news. Dad is showing signs of waking up soon YAY!!!!

I stayed for awhile at the hospital talking to Dad even though I have no idea whether he can hear me or not but it's better then sitting in silence. I mentioned I was pregnant and I felt him lightly grasp my hand which the doctor said is a good sign. Rex picked me up an hour later cause he had to go back to work for that hour and finish off a job him and Ronnie were working on.

Now I'm relaxing on the couch while Rex is cooking dinner, lasagna because it's my fav. Roxie showed me the new ideas for the clothes and that are amazing, she started sewing the purple dress. The new ideas are some stretch jeans with a cotton stomach band for comfort, a couple of cute tank tops similar to the dress and a hoodie that say's baby on board which is totally cute. The best part is with me being the model I get to be the only person to wear them :D

Well I'm getting tired and hungry too I'm gonna go freshen up before dinner.
