'Meeting Her'

“Yes” I replied. As I said that she burst into tears, “Oh my god, what’s happened?” I asked. She looked into my eyes.

“I’ so sorry Darcy, I’m so sorry.”

“What are you sorry for?” I asked

“I’m sorry to dump this on you!” she said bawling her eyes out

“I…. I…”

“You what?” I asked

“Darcy, I’m pregnant!” she said.

“Well I Never!” I said again in the country American accent. She looked at me and just laughed.  “Well its not the best news but I sure am as hell excited” I sighed .

“My own mini Darcy!” is said.

“What if it’s a girl?” Ashley said

“Well it’s a mini Ash tray.” I said laughing.

“Prick” she said. “What will I tell my parents?” she asked

“What’s the proposal exactly?” I asked

“Well if my father hears of this he will go ape shit on you” she said looking worried.

“Well lets get in the car and go and see your mother, and what she has to say about it.”

We got changed and hopped in the Mercedes. We eventually got to her parents house on the other side of town. We drove up the drive and parked outside the front door.

“Mum, Dad” she called

“ASHLEY” she mum called. As she reached her mum, Ashley burst into tears, I ruched over and sat next to them both on the couch, comforting Ashley.

“Ashley, what’s wrong?” her mum asked

“Mum, I’m pregnant” Ashley’s mum jumped up screaming

“OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG,” “GRANDKIDS” she screamed at the top of her lungs. Ashley and I both look in shock.

“Well that’s I good response” I said. Ashley’s mum ran over to me jumped at me, giving me a big hug and kissing me on the cheeks.

“YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYYAYYYA, omg, omg so happy.” We sat down and spoke to Ellen (Ashley’s Mum) and how or if we are telling her father.

I heard the doorbell chiming, as I raced to the door. I swung the door open and it was the girls. Well I was kind of expecting them but still I hadn’t seen them for a while.

“Come in, come in.” I said. Ushering them in

“So what’s the news?” asked Cassie

“Why don’t you come in and sit down and we shall tell you”

“WE?” asked Tara

“Yes we” I said as Ashley came around the corner and tucked herself under my arm.

“Well I think you have already told us” Said Laura

“Oh no we haven’t” I said

We all made our way into the lounge and sat around the circular lounge and sat down. Well accept for Cassie, something probably distracted her like an ant or a butterfly. Oh well we can tell her later.
