Hermione sat in the Great Hall when Harry, Ron and Ginny joined her for breakfast.
"So," said Harry unsurely,"have you heard?"
Hermione frowned as she looked at him.
"About what?" She asked.
"Snape...He er...decided when you're getting married," Harry answered as he narrowed his eyes.
"Yeah, we've spoken. It will be after I finish my year," Hermione answered in a bored tone.
"Well see, they're...making you finish early," said Harry as he played with his food.
Hermione looked at him in shock. She hadn't known about that.
"How do you know?"Hermione demanded as she glared at him.
"Dumbledore," Harry answered nervously.
She pouted. Harry knew before her? What the hell? Hermione stood, greeted her friends and headed to the dungeons in a rush.
Severus sat at his desk, feet raised while rolling an apple in his hands when she burst through the doors.
"Severus, what the fuck?!" She demanded as she advanced on the Potions master.
He raised his brow in amusement as she put her hands on his desk.
"Morning,my love," he said softly.
"Don't 'morning' me! Tell me what is going on!" She screamed at him.
"What are you on about?" He growled as he sifted through papers to find his favorite book.
Hermione grabbed his hand and glared at him.
"What am I hearing about me finishing my year early and getting married right afterwards?!" She hissed as she tightened her grip.
"I was going to tell you tonight,"he said calmly as he tried to free his wrist from her grasp.
"Well, now that just makes it okay then. Harry knows before me. It's my life! I'm supposed to be informed first!" She snarled, not softening her gaze or grip.
"I understand your anger. But Potter wasn't supposed to know until tonight either," he reasoned with a scowl.
"What?" Hermione asked in confusion.
"Albus was only supposed to tell him tonight. I guess he assumed you already knew. I am sorry,my love, that you had to find out that way," Severus said with a sad smile.
Hermione let go of his wrist. She felt her chin tremble, tears threatening to surface. She sat across from Severus, as she tried to calm herself. She was seldomly this angry.
"Okay,"she said, her voice breaking.
Severus walked around to her side. He knelt on his knees, resting his head against hers.
"I love you, Hermione. I always will. I do not wish to upset you," he said softly as he held her.
"I know. And I love you too. Just...don't do that ever again. No secrets," she said grumpily.
"No secrets," he said as he nodded and kissed her on the cheek.

Hermione sat across from Ginny as lunch started. Ron and Harry were absent so the girls had time to themselves.
"Are you okay now?" Ginny asked as she scooted closer.
Hermione nodded.
"I was just surprised. That's all," she answered as she plucked a grape.
