There are many words with biased definitions
For example, perfection, and somehow
The perception of perfection is far from perfect
One person's perfection
Is another's hell
And another's mediocre
A golden opportunity to one,
Is above what another could dream,
And an average Tuesday to another
A hearty, filling meal to one,
Is daunting, unthinkable to another,
And a light snack to another
And here I stand, aware and knowing
That what I feel, what I think
Falls victim to this pattern
My issues, my disorders, my complaints,
Are what others view as a dream,
And others view as unthinkable, shameful
This life, this consistent path,
Has many opportunities, many opinions,
And each is entitled to their own,
And yet perfection
Is never obtainable
