Ashton's P.O.V.

I walk out of the school doors and look for Luke in the sea of people. Soon I spot him leaning against the side of the school, and I go over to him. He's looking down at his phone, I don't think he knows I'm here.

I stand there for a bit, debating on how I should make my presence known. I finally decide on quietly speaking up.

"Hey."

Luke looks up from his phone and shows me his beautiful smile.

"Hey! Ready to go?"

I nod and we start walking to his bus. The whole way to his house we're silent, leaving my mind to wander.

I think about him, about how nice and handsome and perfect he is. And then I think about me, about how horrible I am. I think about how he can't possibly actually like me at all. I think about the possibility of this being a prank of some sort. It probably is, it's me after all.

Luke opens his door, breaking through my thoughts. I slowly follow him in, looking around. There are coats and hats on racks, pairs of shoes on the ground, pictures hanging on the wall of Luke and four other people, I guess his family. The hallway is a dark tan color, overall its just very cozy and... Like a home, I guess.

We walk in to the living room, where a guy is sitting on the couch. He looks up at us as we come in.

"Hey Luke, how was school? Who's that?"

Luke smiles at him. "Hey Ben. Pretty good, this is my new friend Ashton. We're gonna go play some Xbox."

"Okay, just be sure to tell mum."

Luke nods and starts leading me to a different room. "Of course."

I follow him closely, staying behind him the whole time and through the conversation.

"Oh, that was my older brother Ben. Jack's probably upstairs in his room." I nod and stay silent. I just realised I haven't been in anyone's house, other than mine, for over two years. His was definitely more of a home then mine.

We walk in to the kitchen where a woman, I assume his mum, seems to be cooking.

"Hey mum, I have a friend over, we're gonna go play Xbox in my room."

"Okay sweetie, is he staying for diner?"

Luke looks at me. "I don't have a-anywhere to be..." I say quietly. He smiles and turns back to his mum.

"Yeah, if that's okay."

"Of course it's okay. And remember, keep the volume down and no funny business." Luke blushes and starts leading me out, mumbling a "Yes mum."

I blush deeply when I realise what she meant.

"Y-you're, uh..."

"Gay? Yeah. Do you have a problem with it?"

"No, o-of course not."

He smiles. "Good. What's your sexuality?"

Oh no. What do I say? Sure Louis says I'm gay and calls me fag and stuff, but no one knows I'm actually gay. But, he's gay, he wouldn't hate me for it. But would he tell anyone? What if Louis finds out?

After a moment of me not saying anything, he speaks again.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, its okay. And just so you know, you can trust me."

I smile faintly, mumbling a thank you.

He leads me to a door with a blue L on it, and various smiley faces, along with a penguin on the bottom. I look and it and can't help but smile a bit.
