Chapter Fourteen

S U M I

"I'll see you later okay." I ruffle Chin-Mae hair since it is after school and I have to go to work.

"Okay." Chin-Mae smiles. I wave as she runs back to the boy's.

If any of them try one move on her I'LL RIP THEIR HEADS OFF AND FEED IT TO THE WILD ALLIGATORS!!! But since I trust Jin the most- but not alot- I know he'll make sure she's okay.

I let a small breath escape my lips as I watch the van drive away. I hiked my bag up to my shoulder and turned the opposite way making my way to the small cafe. It wasn't popular or big but it was cute, compared to the big building and towers the cafe was only a two story building. This morning when the boys picked us up it took me by surprise but- I can't believe I'm saying this- I'm thankful they did because if they didn't that Sugar guy wouldn't have saved me from being a vegetable. I only remember Sugar as the guy who bumped into me and was really rude. When he saved me he showed no worries or facial expressions at all which kinda hurt me. I know I shouldn't expect to get a nice reaction from the rude guy but still us girls have feelings!!

Before I knew it I was standing in front of the cafe owned by one of the nicest person I know- besides nurse Hana obviously. I push the door open which was followed by the tiny bell sound notifying someone had enter.

"Sumi your here early." Miss Oh smiled.

"I know I just thought I should come to work since I didn't need to do anything at home." I return the smile. I take my bag off along with my coat. "Do you need me to do anything?" I asked after putting my stuff away and putting on an apron with the cafe logo on it.

"There's three small sacks of coffee beans at the back. Could you bring them in please?" I nod with a smile and went to the back.

"What the-? I though you said three small bags!" I say staring st three large sacks of coffee

"Sorry sweetie I must of forgotten how large they looked." She giggled from inside. I sighed and clapped my hands together

"I will not go down without a fight!" I declared.

"And....push." I grunt pushing the bag inside "One...more." I push the heavy bag and finally put it in its place. I wiped the beads of sweat from my forehead and sighed with a small smile growing on my lips.

"One more to go" My smile faltered as Miss Oh cleaned the counter.

I stood up getting ready to leave and fetch the last bag when the bell went off.

"Min-Ji your late........again." Miss Oh sighed disappointingly.

"Sorry Miss Oh there was heavy traffic." The girl, who's name is probably Min-Ji, informed.

"There's always traffic Min-Ji." Miss Oh mumbled. I scanned the girl from top to bottom and I'll tell the truth she was really pretty. She had big doe eyes, pulp lips and really long Orange hair, but there was something off about her, but I'll just let it slide.

"Min-Ji this is Sumi, Sumi this is Min-Ji." Miss Oh introduced.

"Uh? Hi?" I smiled a smile that didn't quite reach my eyes as I gave a small wave, just to be polite.

"Hi." She did the same as I, and an awkward silent fell. Thankfully Miss Oh broke it.

"Min-Ji could you help Sumi with the coffee bean that's out the back?"

"I would love to but....."

"But?" Miss Oh asked

"I just finished getting my nails done and I don't want to ruin them." Miss Oh closed her eyes and I saw her jaw tighten but she breathed in slowly before exhaling in the pace and looked at me.

"Its fine Miss Oh I can take care of it myself. It's just one more left." I shrugged. She smiled weakly and I went back to the back to get the last bag.

Half way as I was pushing the bag inside I saw Min-Ji leaning on the counter with a bored look making my blood boil as Miss Oh was doing everything else. I dropped the bag and marched all the way to Min-Ji.

"What are you doing!?" She shouts as I grabbed the collar of her shirt. "I brought this just yesterday! I don't want to iron it when I get ho-"

"Listen here and listen good!" I snapped cutting her off. "You applied for this job for income and to get income you have to work! Not do whatever you like because your scared your hair might get messy! Now get out there! Wipe some flipping tables and work for your money!" Once I finished my rant I push her out from the counter and threw a rug to her which ended up landing in her face.

She glared daggers at me but followed my orders and began wiping down the tables. Miss Oh eyes were as wide as boulders and she looked a little scared to even come near me. I threw her a sweet smile before I sat down.

It's my turn to be lazy.

A/N HEY READERS SO I FELT A LITTLE SICK AND WENT TO SLEEP EARLY ANY WAY AS I WAS ASLEEP MY SISTER WROTE THIS CHAPTER AND THEN I WOKE AND SHE WAS GONE BUT MY PHONE WASNT SO I GRAB MY PHONE READ HER CHAPTER AND SAW THIS AT THE END.
