"Teamwork."

All their eyes widened slightly in realisation, apart from Kakashi~Sensei.

"Well. You hit the nail right on the head, Sabishi." Kakashi~Sensei said in what I think was praise.

"Working together you mean?" Sakura asked for clarification.

"That's what I mean. It's too late now, but if all four of you had come at me, you might have been able to take them." He said, clearly still pissed off.

"Well, anyway. It's over." He summed up.

"You set it up with four people but only three bells. If we worked together and got the bells, only three of us would get to keep them and that would lead to group conflict and the squad would break up." Sakura explained, thinking she was so smart.

"Exactly. I purposely pitted you against each other." Kakashi~Sensei confirmed tiredly.

"Huh!?" Naruto stated, confused.

"I wanted to see if you could overcome that and put the squad before yourselves. A Genin should have a natural feel for teamwork- but you. The thought didn't even cross your mind."

"Sakura!" He said making us jump slightly.

"You obsessed about Sasuke who was gone. While Naruto was right in front of you and you wouldn't lift a finger to help him." He said, making Sakura bow her head and blush in shame.

"Naruto!" He said firmly.

"You do everything on your own. Everything."

"Sabishi!" He called my name.

"Though your knowledge is useful, it won't get you all the way through a fight. You need comrades to watch your back. Your skills are slightly below average and you knew that, yet you still ignored your teammates."

"And You Sasuke-" Kakashi~Sensei said, his voice dripping with venom, as he pressed Sasuke's head harder in the dirt.

"Thought the others were so far beneath you, they were worthless. Arrogance." He finished

"Ninja missions are carried out in squads. Of course you need individual skills, but teamwork is the most essential element. Every Shinobi understands this. When individuals put themselves above the squad, this can lead to failure, and death."

"For example:
Sakura, kill Naruto now, or Sasuke dies." He said, while placing a Kunai to Sasuke's neck.

"Sabishi, kill Sakura or Naruto dies."

Gladly...

"That's what happens on a mission." Kakashi~Sensei said sadly.

Sasuke looked slightly frightened when he had the kunai to his throat; I don't blame him. He looked away as it was removed, then he shut his eyes tight.

"Oh boy, that was really scary. I thought Sabishi would actually kill me for Naruto there..." Sakura muttered.

Gee, if only you knew...

I internally scoffed.

Naruto let out a sigh of relief, and Kakashi~Sensei started swinging the kunai he had threatened Sasuke with only moments before.

"The enemy takes a hostage and you've got an impossible choice- and someone ends up dead. He finished sinisterly.

He stopped twirling the Kunai and put it away quickly.
