I wrapped the scarf around my neck
And hung it from my tall willow tree
I knew what i was doing
That i was leaving you
That you wouln't notice that i was even
Gone
I went tighter and tighter turning different shades of blue
Until, i thought
Maybe he'll miss me
I quicky untied the scarf and ran inside the house
Hoping you would be there to greet me
But you didnt even notice i was gone
Maybe you just were busy?
I'd see you anyway
I shouldv'e kept going tighter
Till it took my breath away
I shouldv'e known you wouldnt notice that i was
Gone
