A plan

Melly grabbed the door knob but I pulled her hand away.
"What is it?" she asked with a confused expression.

"We should knock first." I said.

"Dude we are not intruders." She said.

"But I don't want to see something that he doesn't want me to." I said.

"Like what?" she said looking at me.

"What if he is lying naked or anything." I said.

"Firstly I am not going to make him walk to the door when his leg is paining. And secondly, even if you are right. I am going in first, so I will warn and you can close your eyes." She blinked.

"Fine....fine" I gave up.

Melly smiled broadly and twisted the knob.

We entered in.
Rowan was half sitting on the bed and watching TV.

"Hey baby. You know how much I missed you today?" Melly went and kissed him. I turned my attention to the movie he was watching.
"SUICIDE SQUAD". My all time favourite.

His room was a big and spacious one and had a balcony. It was very messy and things were scattered everywhere. Clothes near wardrobe. Laundry bag was over filled and dirty clothes were lying all around it. Half eaten cookies on one side of bed. Empty cans of coke on the floor. Electronic gadgets pilled up on a table near the bed.

"Meet Becky, my best friend." she introduced and we shook hands.
"Hello Becky" he said.
"Hi. Nice to meet you" I said and brought a smile on my face.

He switched off the TV and then there was silence for time being.

"Did you see a doctor?" Melly asked.

"Yes, he said that it is a cramp. Will be fine in a day or two." said Rowan.

"I am so sorry honey." she said.

"For what?" he asked.

"For jumping wildly. I was so excited but I should have known" she said.

"No. It wasn't your fault." he said.
There was silence again.

They both were sitting on the bed and I was sitting on a bean bag near the bed.

Then we chatted for half an hour, then Melly came to point.

"Honey do you know she is still a virgin? I mean the last girl virgin of our batch." couldn't she find a better sentence to start with?

Rowan didn't get the point and said "Oh! is it? You want me too...."

What! Me with him? Ewww... This was my first thought.

But it wasn't his fault. Melly's choice of words was very poor.

"NO" we both said at the same time.

"I was wondering if you could get her on a date with Derek." she said.

"Derek? That is difficult but not impossible. I can try, but as far as I know, he is only interested in popular girls or the cheerleaders. I mean he has dated almost every single head cheerleader. So if she could join the cheerleading team, it would make the task much easier." he said and we nodded.

"We will have to talk to miss William. Personally, I don't like her." I said. She was the dance teacher.
"I'll talk to her. She likes me" Melly smiled.

Then we said 'Get well soon' and left the house at 7:30.

"Woohooo we will get you on the cheerleading team and then on a date with Derek and then you will no longer a virgin. Yay" she said on our way back to my place.

"This isn't going to end well." I said and then we reached my place.

"How do you know honey?" she asked.

"The voices" I said mimicking Harley Quinn (If you don't know who she is? Google it).
We laughed.

When we entered, I found my mom pulling out luggage bags.

"Where are we going?" I asked because as far as I knew, we didn't have a trip planned.

"Sweetie not 'we'. Your dad has to leave for an important business meet and he wants me to accompany him. We will be back till Monday morning. So I was wondering if you and Melly could live here." she said.

I turned towards Melly who gave me a cunning smile. I replied back in the same way. To have the entire house by ourselves for three complete days was a dream come true.

"Sure mom we will take good care of it." I said and we went upstairs to celebrate. Melly informed her mom.

After half an hour, dad arrived and we said goodbye to them.

"Don't party or mess up with anything. I don't want any complaints or trouble." my mother said before leaving but I guess, I couldn't hear her well enough. Or I didn't try to.

We were up all night, dancing, drinking, eating, watching movies, listening to songs and then in the morning, had a bad time getting ready for the college. Melly wore my clothes and we drove in my mom's car.

We were already late and missed the first lecture. Then we slipped to our places and remained there till lunch time.

Then we rushed to Miss William's cabin. We wanted to talk to her before she starts her lunch.

"Miss William, good afternoon." I said.

"Afternoon Becky and Melly it is good that you are here. The soccer tournament is starting after a fortnight and I was just about to pass the notice that we will be starting our practice from tomorrow." she said.

"Okay Miss William. I was wondering if Becky could also join us in this tournament." said Melly.

"I am sorry dear but I will have to say no because there isn't any vacancy in the group." she said in a low voice.

"But ma'am Becky is a very good dancer and an acrobat. We could be of great help, I promise." Melly tried to convince her.

"I am sorry dear." she repeated.

We got out of the room. Melly felt devastated but I was cool, rather happy.

"I have an idea. I will quit, then it would create a vacant spot for you. Let's go and talk to Miss William." she said and turned back to go in the cabin but I stopped her saying "No Melly. I am not doing this without you."

"Alright but I am not going to give up so easily. I will get you in the team by hook or by crook." she said and we went to our class and had lunch there.

She said nothing till we drove back home and changed our clothes.

"Okay Melly, your silence is now killing me. Say something." I said.

"I am thinking let me concentrate. Give me a minute please." She said.

I went for shower and when I returned, I found her jumping and shouting "I got it..I got it"

"What?" I asked eagerly.

"Tomorrow is the day for our swimming class right?" She paused.

I nodded. 

"So we will spill some coconut oil and let Sarah slip on it. If she gets hurt, she will have pull out for this tournament." She smiled. Sarah was just another member of the crew.

"Great plan. Only if we don't get caught." I said.

"Trust me. There aren't any CCTVs in the changing room." she said.
I had no other choice.

We enjoyed for that night, once again. Ate pizza, drank, watched movies and then fell asleep on the sofa itself.

Next day we were able to reach the college on time.

One lecture and then we had our swimming lessons. Those were 'lessons' only by the name. Everyone knew swimming and it was just a time to relax in water after a hectic week.

Melly and I took shower and went to the big olympic sized swimming pool.

Entire team of cheerleaders and the soccer players including Derek was present there.
