At the party

A random party song.

We reached the place by 8:55.

The house was already crowded and the loud music could be heard even on the street.
People were flowing all around it.

Derek parked the car and we got out.

Then he pulled a bouquet from the backseat which I didn't notice earlier.

"What is this for?" I asked him.

"It is her birthday." he said.

"Why didn't you tell me" I said and how stupid I was to ask that.

We reached the door as someone called "Hey Derek"
Of course Derek could not go anywhere unnoticed.

"Hey Sam" Derek replied and a thin, tall, fair guy with blue eyes approached us.

It was sure that I had never seen him before.

"This is Becky" Derek smiled and introduced me.

"Hello Becky" said Sam.

"Hi Sam" I replied.

Sam whispered something into Derek's ears. 
He blushed, nodded and then shoulder punched him.

Derek slid a hand around my naked waist as we moved in.
Oh! his hand was so cold.

There were hundreds of faces around me and I recognized none.

Everyone knew Derek and he introduced me to everyone who said 'HI' to him.

Till the time we reached Shailene, I might have met 30 new people.

"Hey Pumpkin, Happy Birthday" Derek said and handed her the bouquet.
Seriously! PUMPKIN.

"Thank you so much Derek." she said smiling.

She was tall, had a beautiful brown skin with big green eyes.

In addition she was wearing a short, red, shinny one piece.

"Meet Becky"  Derek introduced me.

"Many many happy returns of the day Shailene." I smiled and said.

"Thank you Becky. And thanks for coming." she said and we shook hands.

"Drinks are in that corner and the other stuff is in the kitchen. Enjoy." she said and turned to greet other people.

"What did she mean by other stuff?" I asked Derek.

"She meant weed, marijuana and that kind of stuff. You wanna try?" he asked me.

"No, no I am fine." I said.

"Okay then lets go to the pool." he said and we made our way to the swimming pool.

People who were high were already in the pool.

The others were surrounding it. We went and stood at one end of the pool, then we heard a drunk voice

"Hello everyone" it was a girl's voice.

Everyone looked around to find out who it was but could find no one.

Then we heard again "I am here."

And when we looked up, we found a girl dressed in black, standing on the edge of the balcony.

All of us stared in horror, she was drunk and was about to jump in the pool from a height of around 7 meter.

"Derek, go she can get hurt." I said signaling him to go after her.

We both made our way till the door that the girl jumped into the pool with a splash, enough to get all of us wet.

"Shit, fuck you Eva" shouted a girl.

"Let's go in." said Derek and I followed him in.

We went to get a cocktail then.

"Aren't her parents home?" I asked.

"She lives here with her mother whom she might have sent out of the house. We don't keep parents home for a party." he said.

"Okay." I said and took a sip.

Once again everything went back to normal. There were no drunk people inside the house.

Then we saw people moving here and there again which meant there was something new going on. People were going upstairs and coming down.

"What is it now?" I asked Derek.

"I don't know let's go find out." he said and we went upstairs.

On the stairs we encountered Sam, who was going downstairs.

"Hey Sam who is it?" asked Derek.
Like he knew what was going on.

"Cecilia and Dave."  he said and rushed downstairs.

We went up. 

People were standing, surrounding a room, some were peeping through the keyhole.

We could hear loud moans.
What! now this kind of stuff also happens at parties?  

I was feeling sick by then.

"Derek, can we get out of this place, I am not feeling well." I said.

"Of course" he said and we left the mad house.
