The Truth

Loren's POV
Darcy and Shannon stayed over at my house and Abby came over around midnight. I changed my mind about waiting to ask Kim after practise. Darcy messaged Kourtney (the cheerleader captain) and she texted her Kim's phone number. I called Kim and to my surprise she was still somehow up at 1 am. I invited her over and she was at my house around 1:05. We first started off with some bonding games to get to know each other better. We each got to pick a game that we wanted to play. Abby picked Truth or Dare
Kim picked Never have I ever
Darcy picked 21 Questions
Shannon picked Stranger Strings
And I picked camouflage.
We all voted to play truth or dare first. Abby wanted to ask first.

"Loren, truth or dare?"

"Um, dare."

"Ok, I dare you to call Finn and prank him."

I get so mad at myself sometimes.

"Fine. Give me your phone. Mines dead."

Abby gave me her phone. She has everybody's phone number. I don't even have Finn's number. Just to my luck Finn answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Oh hi Finn, I have something to tell you."

"Oh, uh okay"

I went out of the room to tell Finn.

"Look, I got dared to prank call you but this is serious."

"Okay I'm listening."

"I like you. A lot-"

I was about to say that but I lost courage.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come over to hang with the girls and I?"

"Ya sure. I'll be there in ten."

"Okay cool. We you soon bye."

And with that I hung up. I didn't go back into the room. I went upstairs to wait for Finn. In less than five minutes I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the door and there was Finn. He looked better than usual.

"Follow me the girls are downstairs."

He kept looking at my house in awe. I really don't know what was special about it. Finn's house was way better looking. I did notice that Finn left the province sometimes to go to Ontario but I didn't ask him because he would always ignore me or pay attention to the girls around him. I led him down to the basement.

"Come on guys back to the game. Kim, truth or dare?"

"Um, truth"

"What is your favourite cheer move?"

She stood up and showed me this move where she started in a scorpion and then she switched to a scale. I don't think I could ever do that. I clapped for her once she was done.

"Nice job Kim. It's your turn to ask"

"Okay, Shannon truth or dare?"

"Dare"

"I dare you to call Gaten and tell him that you like him."

Damn Kim.

"Okay. Um, before I do that I have to tell Loren 'something'"
Shannon led me into my closet and started exiting me.

Shannon: I actually like Gaten. I'm too scared to do this.

Loren: I'm sure you'll do fine and I'm so happy that you like Gaten.

Shannon and I went out of the closet.

"I'll just be a minute with this."
