Finn's POV
I'm kind of mad at Sadie. She put me up to this whole 'be friends with Loren then take her down' thing. I actually kind of like Loren as a person. Although, she did flip out on me for some reason. She said something about 'her situation' and me not knowing it. I mean, it looks like it's someone's time of the month again. I wanted to ask her about her story but I was afraid she would tear up. I got back to Sadie who was waving her hand in front of my face.
"What? I'm sorry Sadie. I got lost in thoughts."
"Mhm. Sure. Anyways, the plan is for you to have a little crush on her little friend Shannon. She won't even know what hit her. Then you have to make Loren jealous. Got it?"
"Yes"
I mumbled a bit but she could hear it clear enough. I was walking home from Sadie's when I bumped into this person with a long board.
"Oh sorry. I was just out riding to clear my mind. I kind of hate my life right now."
I instantly recognized her voice. It was Loren.
"Don't worry about it. This ain't the first time we've met this way."
She looked right into my eyes and screamed
"You know what. Go to hell. Stop trying to be all pretty and perfect with your girlfriend and your popularity because newsflash, your dating the schools bitchiest girl who will play with you then leave you. So I guess she's like all boys then. Goodbye Finn. No not goodbye, bye. Hope you have a great afterlife in hell with your 'queen'."
And with that she kept on going. She wasn't proud of herself or anything. Maybe I should listen to her. Maybe she isn't the bad one and Sadie is. I've made my decision. I'm breaking up with Sadie tomorrow. What Sadie is making me do is wrong. I should've realized that a long time ago. For now though I'm just going to be undercover. I'm stealthy like a ninja. (IF YOU DONT GET THAT YOU DONT KNOW STRANGER THINGS) I want to get to know Loren more. She seems really cool. I'm getting tired so I'm going to bed.
I woke up the next morning ready to break up with Sadie. There were ten missed calls from , Sadie and 15 texts. I ignored them and got ready for school. After about 15 minutes of walking I reached the school. I was walking into class when I saw her.
Loren's POV
I was feeling more confident in myself today so I wore a crop top high waisted black shorts and makeup and just to pull it off a flower crown. I crimped my hair and got my backpack. I went downstairs and grabbed my longboard. It took me 5 minutes to get to the school. Gaten didn't feel so good so we scheduled the lesson to today. It's Friday so I'm feeling extra happy. I was about to walk into drama when I saw him. He was staring at me with those eyes he has. I can't keep staring so I kept on walking. In drama we had to partner up and I was lucky enough to have Gaten as my partner. Finn was not so lucky to have Abby as her partner. I tried doing improv with her and she was horrible at it.
"Gaten are the three of us still hanging out after school?"
"Ya. You can come to my house after school."
"Okay see you there. Ready Shannon?"
"I'm sorry what? I was too busy staring into to space about comebacks. Let's go somewhere quieter"
Shannon dragged me out to the middle of the school field and there were cheerleading try outs.
"Why did you bring me here?"
"Loren, join the team."
"What? No why?"
"Listen to me. Join that team. I know your secret and I've also seen how flexible you are."
How does she know my secret?
"Fine, I'll try out."
"That's my girl."
I went to sign up for the cheerleading try outs and they gave me a uniform and told me to go change. It actually wasn't that bad. After the try out I was drenched in sweat and all the other girls were just sitting there saying omg it was SO tiring. They honestly just stood there doing nothing. I recognized one of their faves and that girl was actually sweating as much as me and a girl next to her was sweating just as much. It was Shannon!
"Hey Shannon. I didn't know you cheer"
"I don't. She made me. Oh this is Darcy. She's my best friend but she's still not as savage as me."
"That was a pretty hard practise you did good rookie. You did okay Shannon."
"Hey!"
"Do you think Darcy could come later?"
"Probably ya why?
"Because she needs these lessons way more than I do."
Shannon looked at me and smiled.
"There you go. You're getting the hang of it."
"I thought you were only watching because you were the one who brought me here."
"Ya I changed my mind."
"Well I hate to break it to you two savage people but it's time for us to hear who got in."
"20 bucks that I don't make it."
Shannon nudged Me
"You're on"
The cheer captain came up to the front with Darcy
"So here's the list of the people who made it. Only five of you made it so good luck to those of you who didn't make it. Charlotte
Shannon
Brittany
Kim
And Loren. Now the rest of you go home. Girls listen up. This is your co captain Darcy. You only listen to her and I. Got it?"
Everyone said yes. I turned around and saw a girl staring right at me in her cheer uniform. It was Sadie. Oh no. This is bad.
"Hey Darcy, is a girl named Sadie on the team?"
"No she just got cut out."
I sighed in relief. Darcy, Shannon and I went to Gaten's house after cheer so Darcy and I could work on our savage skills. It was a pretty cool lesson but I'll spare you the details of how Darcy's lesson went. I invited the girls to come over to my place.
"So here's the plan. That Sadie girl wants to destroy me. She's my bully, she is dating my old crush and she used to be my best friend but she left me for popularity. Are you guys in with me to stop her?"
"Yes"
"Okay good. I think first we need to stay together no matter what. Got it? Even if it's going to the bathroom, we text each other and meet outside of someone's class room. I have Abby on the phone so she knows the plan too. And once we see Sadie picking on this girl named Kim we walk towards her and start saying quotes. I am going to ask Kim if she's in on this tomorrow at practise. Okay?"
"Okay"
All three of them replied. Now we wait for Sadie's next move.
