The Party

Gaten's POV
I wanted to ask Loren to come to my friends party that he is having tonight.

"So Loren, do you want to come to this party that my friend is having tonight?"

"Sure Gaten, what time should I be there?"

"I'll come to your house at 7. The party ends at 12"

"Ok just text me when you're at my house."

"Okay bye Loren"

"Bye"

Loren's POV
I am so excited for the party tonight. Like I said I don't dress to impress. One because you only need to dress for yourself and two, I'm lazy. Gaten didn't tell me who was gonna be there so I'm assuming it's going to be a small get together. I trust Gaten but I don't really trust his friends. That may sound harsh but I had a really bad accident when I was twelve and I never told any of my family about it. I'm scared if I tell Gaten that he won't want to be friends with me anymore. I have to do my best to keep my secret away from him. I will probably tell him in my own time. I don't know. I better stop getting distracted and go get dressed. It's around 6:45 and I hear the doorbell ring. I rush downstairs and see Gaten waiting for me.

"Bye mom I'll be back around 12"

"Okay Loren be safe"

Gaten and I walked to  his friend's house. Apparently his name is Caleb

"So Loren, do you have any siblings?"

"No it's only me and my mom"

"How many friends do you have? I mean other than me the one and only fabulous Gaten"

"I don't really have any other than you. I'm hoping to make some friends at the party."

"Oh okay, cool"

We reached Caleb's house after 5 minutes of talking. There were people every where and the music was blasting. Gaten walked into the house and hugged a dude. I'm assuming that it was Caleb. Gaten and I were walking to get some drinks when someone bumped into me and spilled punch on my shirt.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was walking. I just haven't been having a good day. I'm so sorry."

"Don't worry about it. I didn't really like this shirt anyways"

I finally looked up and saw who I was talking to. I looked to my side to see that Gaten disappeared to go with his friends. The figure I saw stand before me was Finn. I didn't really like Finn anymore but part of me still gave me hope that he might like me. I threw that thought away and got back to reality.

"Here let me take you home to get a new shirt then we can come back here."

His offer didn't sound to bad but if I brought home a boy, let's just say no one would see me around anymore.

"No it's okay. Really I'm fine. I was about to donate this shirt anyways."

"I still feel really bad. How about we leave now and go hang out at my place?"

I didn't have to be home until twelve and it was only 7:30 so I shad I would go with him but I had to tell Gaten first. Plus Finn told me that some of his friends would be there. I quickly walked around the house and found Gaten.

"Hey Gaten, I'm leaving the party now. I had a little short incident."

"Oh okay Loren. Do you want a ride home?"

"No is okay. Can we hang out tomorrow?"

"Ya sure I'll text you my address. Bye Loren"

"Bye"

It didn't take Finn and I very long to get to his house. He lived three minutes away from Caleb. We walked in silence. Not an awkward silence but a comfortable silence. I know that I don't like him anymore so I didn't think it mattered. He kept looking at me though. I wonder if, just if, maybe he liked me?
