Barbossa x daughter! reader

Y/n PoV

Hey! I'm Y/n! Barbossas daughter. Everyone would think I had a very hard life, because of the curse. I guess it was pretty hard.

You see. I was against the mutiny, led by my father. I wanted to help Jack. I gave him some advice. I could not help him though, when he was left to be marooned on the island.

My father never knew I helped Jack. It would be better if it stayed that way. I still have no idea if Jack's alive. Probably not.

"Ma' lady, the captain requests your presence in his quarters." A pirate told me. I didn't like him, but I couldn't kill him. We were ghosts after all.

I sighed and stood up from the bed. The pirate was gone by now.

Slowly I made my way to my father's quarters.

I knocked and entered. In there captain Barbossa was sitting behind his desk.

"Ah. Y/n, my darling flower. Take a seat." He said once he noticed me.

I did what I was told and motioned for him to continue.

"The amulet is here. I can feel it. Tonight we attack. We can not die. We can not be harmed. It'll be easy. You, however must stay on the ship. Do not go off the ship under any circumstances. Do you understand?" He asked as I did what any other pirate would do.

I crossed my fingers behind my back, making sure he didn't see and said " I promise."

I went back to my quarters. I grabbed my sword and attached it to my hip. On my way out of the cabin I also grabbed my oversized hat, to cover my face just in case.

Finally, after minutes of waiting we could attack. Screams were heard echoing throughout the city as we fired our cannons.

After a while we could swing across into the city and fight.

Soon I was battling three soliders one of them swiped my feet and I fell. My sword slid out of my hand and just out of reach. I was terrified.

I look to my right and spot someone I did not want to see. My father. He looked shocked at seeing me here, but I didn't know why. Suddenly it hit me. My hat fell off when I fell!

Father looked very angry and glared at the sword pointing at my throat. He lunged into the soliders and cruelly slay them all.

He picked me up and yelled at me. "Y/n! Are you insane! You could have been killed!"

'tell me something I don't know."
I thought to myself.

My father called two pirates over and ordered them to take me back to the ship.

They each grabbed one of my arms and practically dragged me back to the ship. I knew it was no use struggling, so I let them take me.

I glared as they threw me on the bed. The sneered at me and than left.

I was just being bored in my cabin, when suddenly I heard cheers.

Curiously, I looked out the door. All the pirates were standing on the deck with a prisoner.

It was a girl. A beautiful girl. The most important part about her was what she was wearing around her neck. It was the necklace.

After dealing with the girl. I later found out her name was Elizabeth, my father came to my quarters.

He sighed and sat on my bed, right next to me. There were tears in his eyes. This was the first time I saw him cry.

Suddenly he hugged me so tight, I almost couldn't breathe. He started stroking my hair as I hugged him back.

After the crying he looked right into my e/c eyes, with his bloodshot red ones.

"Do not ever do that again. I almost lost you. I can not afford to lose you like your mother." He barely even whispered the last sentence.

From that moment on I vowed to myself. I will never go against my father's will. We both want each other to live, and we keep each other safe.
