Y/n PoV
I'm running again. They're chasing me. How are they so close already? I see a tentacle reach out to grab me. It wraps around my waist and lifts me in the air "DADDY HELP!" I yell out, but the tentacle is already bringing me closer to the creature's mouth filled with razor sharp teeth. The last thing I see before I the mouth closes around me is my father's face turning away.
I gasp as I open my eyes "y/n, y/n, can you hear me?"
"I. Can't. Breathe." I manage to gasp out.
Daddy hugs me tight and I listen to his heartbeat. I breathe at the same pace as he does and eventually calm down.
"Alright honey, would you like to tell me what that nightmare was about?" He asks softly, his brown eyes showing concern.
I open my mouth, but quickly close it again as tears well up in my eyes. I shake my head firmly from side to side, signalling a quiet 'no'. Wrapping my arms around him again (or as far as I can reach, really) I bury my head into his chest again.
"It's alright sweetheart." He comforts me, "Why don't we lay you down, eh?"
He lays down with me in his arms onto the bed that is now messy and leans his head on the pillow which is wet with tears. I feel safe and drift off into sleep again, with daddy stroking my hair.

There is annoying light coming from somewhere behind me, and a warm breath on the top of my head. The thing in front of me is warm and soft so I snuggle further into it. The thing moves. OH NO IS IT THE BEAST FROM MY DREAMS PLEASE DON'T TAKE ME-. Oh. This feels nothing like the beast. Suddenly memories from nast night, or early this morning I really can't tell, came back to me.
"DADDY" I yell out and hug him tight. Suddenly he shoots up and I let out an 'umpf' as I land back on the bed.
He looks back down at me and calms himself. "Heya there sweetheart." he says with a smile.
"WILL IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT?" I hear mommy yell from outside the room. "MOMMY" I yell back and she runs in with panic written all over her face. She looks from daddy to me on the bed and sighs in relief. "You scared mommy darling" she says and kisses the top of my head.
"Sorry" I apologise and feel another pair of arms hugging me from the back.
"She just had a nightmare, it's alright." daddy whispers.
"A nightmare? Oh love what was it?" mommy asks me.
I shake my head like I did before. I'll tell them later, but for now I'd just like to enjoy the feeling of warmth and safety with my family.

Okay listen before ya'll attack me I'm really sorry for not updating and yeah it sucks but my life was kinda a mess for, how long had it been? Like, two years? So yeah real sorry about that but yee here you guys go.
