I woke up this morning from the stream of light seeping through my blinds. I blinked a couple of times and rubbed my eyes so my vision would be more focused. I then stretched my arms letting out a loud yawn.
I sat up on the side of my bed looking at the small wooden box laying right on my nightstand. I remembered my dream and how i actually found this box.
Should i give it to Ashton? Decisions.
He does hate me.
This does belong to him... soo... I will give it to him later today.
I got up off of my bed and walked into my bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and grabbed my pills from my sink taking one and followed it with a glass of water.
I quickly hopped in the shower and washed my long brown hair along with my tan body. I got out, blow dried my hair and throwing on my little sun dress that hugged my petite body in a way that just looked... Good.
I looked at myself yet again in the mirror and smiled. My smile had a few flaws. Just a few. I do have braces so...Yeah.
I brushed my teeth and grabbed the wooden box bringing it downstairs.
I sat it down on the table and grabbed some bread to make toast. I then put it in the toaster and waited until they popped up from the top.
I ate a couple slices and then cleaned up my little mess.
I then grabbed the wooden box and walked out of my front door. I noticed that i was shaking. Why am i so nervous? I am just going to hand it to him and leave. Don't say a word, just hand and go.
I agreed with my plan as i walked on their porch and knocked on their door.
I waited hoping no one would come now since i was having second thoughts. I turned around walking off of the porch when i heard a voice from behind me.
"Emma? What are you-" Calum asked before he was cut off when he looked at the small wooden box that was in the palm of my hands that had small engravings of flowers on it.
A flash of pain then anger went across his face as he stared at the box.
"Calum, we need to talk." I managed to say while swallowing the lump that was in my throat.
He looked at me while he furrowed his eyebrows and then nodding just a little giving me permission to go in.
I walked up the steps and in the door and he led me to the dining room. He pulled out a seat patting it motioning for me to sit down. I noticed something.
He couldn't take his eyes off of the box.
I sat down with the little thing in my hands as i watched him walking into the kitchen.
"Would you like some tea?" he asked loudly from the kitchen.
"I would absolutely love some." i said back to him.
He came back into the room with two mugs in his hands. One was a little pink one with sleeping beauty on it. And the other was black and had batman on it.
I chuckled lightly as he handed me sleeping beauty.
"Look, i am soo very sorry for asking you that question the other day, i was being so fucking nosy and i deserved what i got and..... Yeah." i said taking a sip of my tea.
He had sat his mug down onto the table while still staring at the box.
"Its fine. W...W...Where did you get that, Emma?" he studdered while pointing to the box.
"This is the part where i explain what had been happening the past few days, Calum. I really hope you believe me because this shit is real. Like no fucking joke." I rambled.
"O...kay."
"Well that night that i injured myself, i had gotten up looking for somebody who could tell me what happened. I opened your door and you woke up and started calling me...Madison. So you kept mentioning Ashton, letters, so on and so forth. That night that Michael kicked me out, i had the most vivid dream, Calum. I was in a woman's body who looked a whole awful lot like me. You were the first person i saw. The woman walked up to you and told you that she-"
" Stop. You are creeping me the fuck out, Emma." he interrupted.
" She whispered words into your hair. She told you she loved you, and don't forget that. She kissed your head and walked into her apartment. She saw things and heard things that you can only in your dreams, Calum. Unimaginable things. She grabbed papers and wrote letters to four different lads. She put them in places that meant alot to her. I saw the four places. I saw her struggle to find sanity. I saw her end her life. I felt what she felt, heard what she heard. I saw you guys find the letters but Ashton never found his. He wasn't looking hard enough. I looked where she had put it in the dream and this is what i found." i rambled on sliding the small wooden box toward him.
He slowly grabbed it while tears built up in his eyes. He opened it hearing the classical music sound. He then let out a few tears. His eyes focused on the envelope that had Ashton's name written on the front in sloppy handwriting.
He then covered his face with his hands and let out a loud sob. I quickly rushed to him and rubbed his back, comforting him the best i could while i could.
He wiped his tears away with his sleeve and breathed in slowly.
" Ashton made this box for her. He put in her favorite classical song, Fur Elise. They loved eachother so much." he said letting out a long breath.
I rubbed circles on his back while he wiped away the remaining tears that stained his cheeks.
I then heard the front door open to hear three boys talking as they walked in. They laid eyes on us and furrowed their eyebrows looking more confused then ever.
I took the small box off of the table walking with it till i stopped in front of Ashton. I handed him the box and said," I believe this belongs to you." and then walked right out of that front door never looking back as i made my way to my apartment.
