Chapter Five
Ben took me to about every clothing store in London. It felt odd, we didn't get much at each store, mainly because the crowds of fans around us were getting big, and pushy. Ben didn't want me to feel uncomfortable, so we went to just about every clothing store to avoid being bombarded. I didn't mind the crowds most of the time, I just felt weird to know that people were staring at me.
I mainly got things on the clearance racks, because I didn't want Ben to spend a lot of money. He didn't mind though. He said he was happy to buy me new clothes. I guess I can't complain then, I've never had new clothes before, I always got hand-me-downs growing up.
Ben and I just entered his flat when I realized though, just how much I got. Ben and I both were carrying about ten bags each. I gave Ben a sympathetic look, but he just went to my room and set down the bags.
Once he left the room, I closed it and changed out of my blood-stained, two-days-old clothes. I had borrowed a jacket from Ben to hide my shirt. I placed the jacket on the bed, nice and neat. It smelled like him, and I loved wearing it, but I would return it.
I put on new underwear and a bra. I put on black skinny jeans and a short sleeve shirt that is slightly lighter than the color of my eyes. I put on matching blue converse shoes.
I comb my hair and exit the room, grabbing Ben's jacket. I walk into the living room, Ben is sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone. He looks up when I come closer to him.
"Ready to go?" He asked, putting his phone in his pocket, getting off the couch.
"Yes, and here's your jacket. Thanks for letting me borrow it earlier." I offer the jacket, but Ben rejects it.
"Keep it, I have plenty."
I put on the jacket, I didn't feel like leaving it at the flat.
With that said, we head out to wherever it is that he wants to take me.

"Close your eyes." Ben said as the car came to a stop.
I didn't resist, he was trying to cheer me up, and I didn't want to protest. I closed my eyes. Ben opened my door and helped me out of the car.
"Just to make sure you don't peek, I'm going to blindfold you." Before I replied, Ben already starting placing a soft cloth over my eyes.
Ben starts leading my way, holding my hand. I couldn't see where I was going, so I kept stumbling—Ben caught me every time. It didn't take long for us to reach our destination. Before I knew it, Ben and I came to a stop.
Ben starting removing my blindfold. It would be an understatement to say I was excited. Whatever it was that Ben wanted to show me, it was going to cheer me up—actually, Ben just cheered me up in general.
"Alright, open your eyes."
I did, and I immediately looked into Ben's eyes—not on purpose, kind of out of instinct. His eyes are the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen. But just as soon as it started, my gaze was directed in another direction. I looked behind Ben, and saw something that took my breathe away.
Right in front of my eyes, was a beautiful view of London. It was dark now, and the lights from the city danced amazingly.
Ben and I sat—we were on a hill, high enough to see the city from the top.
I hugged Ben, he really did help me feel better.
