day 2, week 1.

hazel: hey noname

Luke looks down at his phone as he sits down at his desk. He notices a new text from Hazel. He's surprised that she still wants to talk to him after he blew her off yesterday. He quickly replies to it.

luke: hello

hazel: how's your turtle?

luke: he's uh good

hazel: tell me, do you really have a turtle?

luke: um no ?

hazel: lmao ofc not. but that's a clever way of getting out of a conversation. just make sure to use a more believable excuse

luke: i'll keep that in mind

The teacher enters the classroom and Luke quickly puts his phone on silent and locks it putting it into his hoodie pocket and adjusts his beanie on his head. The lesson begins and the teacher starts talking, and begins to correct the homework but Luke is not paying much attention, as always.

He keeps thinking about the mysterious girl that texted him last night and keeps texting him even though it was obvious he didn't want to. Luke doesn't like talking to other people. He would much rather just stay in his little bubble and avoid every soul, and that's exactly what he does at school; since he has to attempt to converse with people at his job, unfortunately.

His head suddenly fills up with all the bad outcomes that could come out of this; Hazel could end up being someone like Michael, playing a prank on him just to embarrass him even further, or some old man pretending to be Hazel.

Even though she could just be an ordinary person, he's not too comfortable talking to her, and even though he made it evident that he didn't want to talk to her, she still texts him. He doesn't want to be rude and tell her to go away or ignore her messages. He just hopes she'll understand Luke isn't comfortable.

Luke really dislikes Mr. Wilson's class, he dislikes every class, but for many reasons he dislikes this one the most.  The main reason is that the one person who he really doesn't like is in that class. She always stares at him, giving him smirks or winks when nobody's looking; meanwhile while people are looking she looks really angry or sad. The fact she's still two faced makes Luke really mad.

"Hemmings," Mr. Wilson brings him out of his never-ending thoughts and back to earth. He looks around to see the teacher and all of the class looking at him. He tenses up suddenly as he pulls the sleeves of his hoodie over his bracelets and palms while avoids any eye contact directed at him; especially hers.

"Y-yes?" He stutters.

"Were you even listening to me? I asked you to answer question 6," states Mr. Wilson as he crosses his arms over his chest with a angry expression on his face. Suddenly Luke feels the walls of the room closing in on him as his breathing quickly speeds up.

Luke shuffles around his desk as he opens his copy and flips through the pages, his hands beginning to shake as he feels the stares from everyone in the room. The silent class allowing him to hear quiet whispers or giggles from around the classroom.

"Nevermind. Get more organized and have your work on your desk when we're correcting it. Clifford, what's the answer?" Mr. Wilson rolls his eyes as he look over from the back of the room to the middle where a red haired boy sits.

Luke sighs to himself, looking down and trying to control his breathing. Micheal answers the question correctly, praising himself giving Luke a dirty look. Not long after most of the stares have gone and Luke relaxes a little more, tugging at the hem of his hoodie.

Luke finally gets out of class and heads towards the canteen after quickly going to his locker. He sits down at his usual spot beside the wall at the back of the room and takes out his phone. He plugs in his earphones and turns on his favourite playlist turning on Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day.

He clicks at his message notification and sees an unread message from Hazel. He sighs to himself.

hazel: so what other bands do you like other than blink?

luke: good charlotte, green day

He quietly eats his lunch skipping a lot of songs on shuffle, looking around the canteen as all the groups of people sit in their usual places, with the same teachers on supervision. He looks back down at his phone when he hears his phone buzz.

hazel: i like your music taste

luke: thanks i guess

hazel: so noname how about you finally tell me what your name is? idk what to save your name as

luke: i'll pass

(Little look inside Luke's life ^-^)
