day 1.

"Alright, let me see your timetable for a second," Michael said extending an arm as him and Luke walked out of the principals office.

"Yeah sure," Luke replied as he handed Michael the sheet of paper into his hands. Michael took a look at it quickly.

"Lucky for you we have first period together, let's go," Michael informed him, returning his timetable and Luke nodded as the both of them began walking down the hallway towards their classroom.

Once they entered their classroom, Luke looked around and saw some students already seating in their seats, just talking to each other.

"So do I just stand there and wait or do I find an empty seat?" Luke asked Michael who was already making his way to his seat.

"I don't freaking know, just sit beside me. Problem sorted, plus my pal isn't in today," Michael answered as he pointed to the empty seat beside him.

"Uh alright," Luke walked over to the empty seat and sat down on it. He put down his backpack and took out some books as well ad his pencil case.

"So um Michael, since we we're going separate ways after this class, will you bring me to the next class or just give me general directions?" Luke asked trying to make some conversation.

"I've got a pass from the teach so I'm allowed to be late as long as I'm showing you around. It's probably the only reason I signed up for this. So yeah I have to bring you to your next class," Michael replied sitting back in his chair.

"Alright, thanks."

Once lunch comes around, Michael shows Luke where the canteen is. "Alright this is the canteen. You can eat here and stuff. Well adios for now," Michael said as he walked over to his table where his friends were already. Luke just stood there looking over at the canteen looking for any free tables.

He found a table at the back of the room. He sat down and quietly ate his lunch that his mum packed, looking around at the new place. A part of him wanted to get out there and talk to people and make some friends, but from his earlier encounters the people here don't seem too friendly.
