She walked with a heavy heart and a pain that was unexplainable. She couldn't understand what had just happened. Slowly it started sinking in as she almost broke down in the streets.

The only person she loved the most was gone. The one she thought would live forever was gone. In a matter of seconds her world fell apart. Her sister was gone. Her soulmate. Her best friend. Her life partner.

Gone in one moment. One blast by some freaking robot and her sister was dead. She could've saved her. What was she doing when her sister needed her?

"Y/N?" A voice came from distance as her legs gave up. She was falling. She fell but she fell in his arms.

"Y/N are you Ok?" He asked with concern all over his face and in his voice.

"St-steve... Steve..." She couldn't go further.

"Y/N!! Are you Ok? What do you want to tell? Y/N!" He lightly patted her cheeks.

"Y/S/N/N..." She started crying.

"What happened to Y/S/N?!!"

"Loki...ki-killed her! Ste-steve....shes gone. That freak.. He..Steve.." She cried in his arms. She wasn't in her senses.

"Shhh.. Stop crying. Stop...."

"How are we going to tell Tony?" She cut him falling on her knees from his grip.

"You don't worry about that.. I'll take you to the tower now Ok? You don't have to worry!" His soothing words sounded in her ears but she couldn't leave her sister.

A blast sounded right near to where they were and the ground shook.

"We need to get out of here." He said picking her up.

"No Steve..I can't leave her. She's my everything.."

"Y/N.. I love you. We lost Y/S/N.. I can't loose you!" He looked into her eyes. Tears were starting to form in his eyes.

As he turned around to head towards Natasha, Y/N still in his arms, they both saw Tony standing there. He was in his suit but his mask was open revealing his shocked face.

"Y/S/N/N..." He mumbled.

"Tony.... We are sorry..." Steve said as Y/N cried and cried.

"He killed my fiancé.. He won't be alive for long." Tony said, jaw tightly closed. He shut his mask and flew away.

Natasha took her to the tower. She made her way towards her bedroom. Nothing seemed real. Nothing that happened seemed real!

Later that night The Avengers returned at Stark tower. To say Tony was a mess was an understatement.

She wasn't asleep when she heard the door of her bedroom open. He walked in and knew she wasn't asleep. He had cuts and bruises and was in his casual clothing.

He slipped into bed next to her. She sniffed as she cried at the memories of her and her sister's childhood.

"Y/N?" Steve whispered in her ear in his loving voice.

She sniffed and turned towards him.

"I miss her so much! It was all my fault. I could've saved her.." She hugged Steve and buried her head in his chest. (A/N: 😍😍 sexy)

"It wasn't your fault. You didn't know what was going to happen. Sure you're going to miss her, sweetheart. But she'll always be alive in our hearts. In our memories. Everything will be normal."

"I don't have her by my side anymore."

"You have me.. I love you. I'm never ever going to leave your side. I'll always be here darling. And so will be the rest of us. Everything will be alright. You helped save the world. I'm sure Y/S/N will be very proud of you. I love you sweetheart."

He kept whispering sweet things to her till she fell asleep.
