Chapter 28: My Everything Is Jon

Maddison's POV:

Jon and I pulled away and just stared at each other. My lips ached for Jon's so I jumped onto him, wrapping my legs around his waist, kissing him again. There wasn't anybody in the park as it was still pouring down with rain. After about 10 minutes, we found ourselves making out on a park bench. 

We both pulled away and once again, stared deeply into each other's eyes. 

"I'm so sorry Maddison. I love you too much to let you go. I was just hurt because of my history with Renee and I thought you were like her but you're not. You are so different and that's what I love so much about you." Jon said, caressing my cheek. 

"I'm so sorry I hurt you. It was all in the heat of the moment. It meant absolutely nothing. I only think of Colby as my older brother. Nothing more. I love you, and only you." 

"So, um, will you be my girlfriend again??" 

I could feel tears in my eyes. But not sad ones. Happy ones. Tears of joy. "Of course I will."

We both smiled and leant in for another kiss. We both pulled away when we heard a loud car horn. We both looked at each other confused and looked around until we saw a car with Joe and Colby inside. They had their window open. 

"They're gonna hear us, you idiot." we heard Joe say. 

"Too late." I said, making them look at us. 

"Oh, hi guys. We were just....chilling, you know." Colby said. 

"Why are you guys here??" Jon asked. 

"Wait, are you guys back together??" Joe asked. 

"Yeah, why??" 

They both looked at each other and high fived.

"Okay, what is going on??" I asked. 

"We both texted you saying to come to the park. We knew you'd both end up meeting and we knew you'd end up getting back together because lets face it, you both can't stay apart. Jon was getting more and more depressed without you and you weren't taking care of yourself. We had to do something." Colby explained. 

"Can you guys come out for a moment??" 

They both got out and both looked at each other, nervous. 

"A-are you gonna kill us?? Because we don't want to die. We're too young to die. I only have one daughter. Colby doesn't even have a girlfriend yet and-" 

I interrupted Joe by giving him a hug. Jon did the same by hugging Colby. 

"Thanks guys, for everything. I really know you are really my brothers. You helped us get back together. I can't thank you enough." Jon said. 

"You're our brother Jon and Maddison is our sister. We can't see you guys hurting."

"How about we get back?? You guys have been in the rain for a while now. You're gonna get ill."

We all got back in the car and drove back to the hotel. Let just say that I have everything I wanted. And my everything is Jon.
