Comment. ___________________________________ Astrid watched as the love of her life rode of with his old flame in total sadness. Why did she have to seem so nice, if she were mean it would be easier to hate her. Then Astrid realized that there was no one to blame but herself. She was the one who chose not to be friends with Hiccup when they were kids.
Astrid then remembered Heather would be waking up soon and she really needed girl time. Astrid flew to her hut trying to zone out Camicazi's squeals of delight. Astrid arrived just in time to hear groans as Heather awoke. Putting a hand to her head she slowly opened her eyes turned to Astrid before asking what had happened to her. "While you were out looking for Hiccup you two were ambushed by a new dragon called a stormcutter" she answered.
Heather's eyes then went wide before wincing in pain "how's windshear, and Hiccup and Toothless" She asked lying back down. "Windshears fine. Hiccup and Toothless are super awesome" she mocked at the last part. Heather raised an eyebrow as she asked "what's with the attitude" as she received a block of ice from Astrid.
"HE JUST HAD TO HAVE A PRETTY BEST FRIEND" Astrid yelled as she lodged her axe into a nearby shield that was hanging on the wall. "I'm lost . Who are we talking about." Heather asked finally gaining the strength to stand. Astrid sighed as she began to explain "you know the heir to the Bog-Burglars who was coming". Heather nodded as Astrid continued. "Turns out she is Hiccups childhood sweetheart, and she really came over to she him again and she's Thor flippin gorgeous" Astrid ranted destroying the poor innocent shield. "And the worst part she's nice and seems to want to be buddy buddy with me".
Heather gave her a confused face before asking "how's that bad". "It's bad because I can't hate her and neither can Hiccup" Astrid confessed as she slumped onto a nearby stool. Heather gave her a sympathetic look as she sat next to her and began a comfort speech. "Before you start, you should know that fish is hot for her too" Astrid confessed to the now speechless girl. Heather immediately stood up got into a battle ready position with her axe as she yelled "THAT BOG-BITCH IS GOING DOWN". Both she and Astrid stepped out of the hut to see the disgusting beautiful creature.
They walked to the clubhouse to find the guys there all with goofy grins and Dagur still reading his letter. "Okay, I've got to know. Who's that letter from." Astrid asked still a little creeped out by this super happy Dagur. "A girl from the Bog-Burglars, who happens to be interested in yours truly" he said with a lovesick grin. Everyone in the room shuddered except Heather. "Wait your dating somebody" she asked " and you didn't tell me" she shrieked.
"My dear, darling Heather, you should not butt into your siblings love life" Dagur replied. The made everyone give him the really look. "Dagur you do it all the time" Heather reapplied with a bored expression. " I said you shouldn't " Dagur smirked. "Ah, you know what they say like brothers, like sisters" he said as he danced out of the room. "No one says that" Snotlout
DINNER TIME
It was getting late and Astrid was getting worried. Where were they? Heather came over with a plate of yak chops. Astrid just pushed them away and sighed looking up at the sky. "Astrid, I know your worried about him, but you can't just keep staring at the sky. You need to eat" Heather said as she pushed the plate back towards her. Astrid sighed knowing her friend was right. Just as she was about to take a bite she heard the familiar screech of a night fury.
She rushed outside to see Hiccup helping Camicazi down. "Where have you been" Astrid yelled at him. "Easy Astrid, I've been taking Cami to different islands to find a dragon for her. The Stormcutter that attacked us earlier seemed to take a liking to her. She even managed to do the hand thing" Hiccup proudly explained.
Camicazi walked "alright what are we having I am" starving she said as she snatched a yak chop off the plate sat down and put her feet up. Astrid was about to walk up to her to give her a piece of her mind, but Hiccup grabbed her and pulled her back out. "What?" Astrid asked extremely annoyed on how he was protecting her. "I did say we would hang out later, didn't I" asked Hiccup smirking at her. Astrid simply hugged her stupid idiot. He was choosing her over Camicazi after all. Wait, was he? She pulled back
"Don't you wanna hang out with her" she gave him a suspicious tone pointing at Camicazi. Hiccup shook his head no " she's great, but she's not you" he said softly as he brought his forehead down to hers. Words couldn't describe how much Astrid wanted to cry. "We'll go out on a flight on one condition" Hiccup stated as he wrapped her hands around her waist.
"And what's that" Astrid teased as she wrapped her arms around his neck knowing he wanted a kiss. "You have to spend the day with Camicazi tomorrow" Hiccup said calmly. Astrid froze for a second before separating from him and slapping him. She then started punching. "YOU SON OF HALF TROLL RAT EATING SLUDGE BUCKET". Everyone ran out to see hat was happening between them. Camicazi easily pulled them apart "Okay, Okay, Okay , Okay. That's enough.
"Hiccup what did you say to get her pissed" Camicazi asked giving him a bored expression. "I said you were prettier than her after she asked me if you two could hangout " Hiccup quickly said making me go on another rampage. He did not just turn the odds in his favor.
Camicazi grabbed Astrid by the shoulders and locked eyes with her as she said " Astrid, sweetie, beauty is skin deep. Also sure we can hangout". Astrid was being put on the spot here. It would be weird and make her look like a jerk if she said no. " Yay" she said with a happy face but her voice obviously faking. Camicazi squealed before giving her another hug. The boys all raced over to hug them while trying to hug Astrid a less as possible because "ew". "Okay boys. That's enough" Camicazi awkwardly asked.
The guys refused to let go and Hiccup, Ruff, and Dagur just stood there laughing. Heather cleared her throat angrily at Fishlegs, who quickly let go and stuttered scared out of his mind at the angry Heather. She gave him the evil eyes before he just simply jumped on to meatlug, flying at two miles per hour. Camicazi calmly walked towards " I hope you know I'm not a home wrecker. I don't take guys who are taken" she tried to console her. Heather smiled calmly at her. "I know. I'll go cool off, then go talk to him." Then she walked away.
"DRAMA" Dagur sang as he just laughed as he walked back inside. Hiccup looked around to see Astrid walking back to her hut looking forlorn. He got one of his ideas as he whistled for Toothless. He flew over towards her and glided above her. "Where you going" he teased only to meet a sad expression. "I'm not in the mood to talk to you, Hiccup" Astrid sadly replied. Hiccup frowned
"I um. I found a new island on the way back. I thought maybe uh- we could check it out" Hiccup tentatively asked. "I said no Hiccup " Astrid grouches getting annoyed. Hiccup just sighed. "Okay, if you say so....STORMFLY FETCH" Hiccup said as Stormfly picked up Astrid by the arms and flew behind Toothless. "HICCUP. GET ME DOWN FROM HERE" Astrid yelled in a tone that would frighten the mighty Thor himself. "In time milady, in time" Hiccup charmingly said to her.
20 MINUTES LATER
Astrid finally calmed down, though she was still a little upset. "Here almost there. Your gonna love it" Hiccup said to her. Astrid gave him a small smile, there was the untied down, dorky adventurer who she fell in love with. She realized that she should be as smiley as he was. He was never like this unless it was the two of them. She supposed that if the positions were reversed she would want her former best friend to get along with Hiccup soon the island came to view.
