My new schedule book should be up on either tomorrow or Monday! I have the first chapter written, but I haven't decided if I should wait or not. Anyway, it's called The Last Year and it's kind of different than anything I've ever written, but I'm pretty excited about it. Once it's published I will need a cover, so if anyone wants to help me out with that, that would be super. I'm gonna put the first paragraph of the first chapter down at the bottom, in case y'all want to read that. The book is in Mitch's POV. Just because I'm curious, would y'all rather I post it tomorrow or Monday? That's all. It's finally the end of this book. Thanks again for sticking around and making it this far. Love you ❤💚💜💛💙

Everyone always says to take advantage of the heat, to go outside and do something with your time while you still can. I however, am an avid believer in sitting in the basement, alone with a canvas, more paint than necessary, and a wide array of brushes as my only company.
"Mitch!" my mom calls from the top of the stairs.
"What?" I call back, dipping a brush into the darkest green I have and spreading it across the canvas in several strokes.
"Go outside. It's nice out."
"You consider 95º 'nice'? I consider it death and sunburn."
"It wouldn't be so bad if you ever wore anything besides black jeans." she says, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"Black suits me."
"Shorts. Shorts are the answer."
"I'm not coming upstairs." She groans.
"Fine. When you have to go to school not knowing anybody, don't come crying."
"It's not like I'm going to meet anyone outside. No one that wants to befriend me, anyway." At the sound of her retreating footsteps, I set the brush down, grabbing my iPod and hooking it up to the stereo next to my table. A few seconds later, Beyoncé is blasting and I go back to painting.
