Chapter 2

Maya POV

I took some pictures of him cooking.

He laughed as he held his hand out "No photography while the chef is cooking."

"Oh please, I need to take pictures of art," I replied.

We set up the table to realize that there were only two of us at the table. He looked like he didn't mind. It was silent but it didn't feel awkward.

He broke the silence "So Maya what got you into photography?"

"Well, I like taking pictures of the little things we take for granted," I replied. He smiled.

"If you look at famous photographers you will notice that they take pictures of the beautiful landscape," I said.

"So you take pictures of the different things in life," he said.

I smiled "Exactly."

"You have gotten very mature," he laughed.

"I am almost an adult," I replied. Then I got a message.

Riley💕

Riley 💕: Hey I am heading back in 30 min can I bring Lucas 😊

You: Of course you can. Why are you asking? 😂

Riley 💕: I just didn't want you to be surprised.

You: Ok C u then.

I laughed then got another message.

Farkle😎

Farkle😎: Can we talk about how Lucas showed up out of nowhere?

Farkle😎: Also about how you left me alone with these two. 😡

You: Ohh. Is The Farkle jealous? 😉

You: Also sorry I didn't want to watch them drool on each other. 😂

Farkle😎: I am not jealous and I am heading back bc I can't deal with them.

You: Well good luck tnite bc he is coming over. 😂

Farkle😎: Kill me now. 🔫

Josh looked at me confused, "Is everything ok?"

"Yeah, it's Riley asking me if Lucas can come over and Farkle is coming back right now," I replied.

"Lucas is here?" he asked.

"Yep, he lives here," I replied.

We all knew how big of a crush Riley had on Lucas. She was devastated when he moved. We also knew that they were both perfect and perfect for each other. So it's fate that brought them back to each other. Riley and Lucas walked in.

"Hey we are going to head upstairs so I can give him a tour," she said.

"Ok," I replied. They ran upstairs.

Soon we finished eating and cleaned everything up. Then we decided to watch some TV with some popcorn. I suggested watching Riverdale. (Sorry I am Riverdale trash.)

"Cole Sprouse is so hot," I said.

He laughed, "So that is what hot is too you."

He smirked, "Does that mean I am extremely hot?" I laughed and threw popcorn on him.

"You will not get away with that Hart," he said. He tackled me and grabbed my wrist. My hands were above me and he was on top of me.

"Do you think you are so strong?" I asked.

"Oh I know I am strong." he replied.

I turned so that now I was sitting on top of him and his wrist were above his head.

"Well played," he said laughing.

I couldn't help but blush.

"I thought it was impossible for Maya Hart to blush?" he smirked.

Then someone walked in.

"Oh sorry for interrupting," someone said.

I looked up to see it was Lucas. He stood there awkwardly. I got off of Josh quickly.

Lucas POV

I didn't know what I just walked into. Maya with Josh? Maya did mature since the last time I saw her. I heard her talking about her love of photography for a brief moment. From what I heard she really is a completely different person.

"Hey Lucas," she said straightening her shirt.

"Oh sorry I was going to the bathroom," I said really quickly.

"Yeah um it's over there," she replied pointing towards the corner.

I ran quickly to the bathroom. It was really awkward. I wonder what happened before I came in.

I came out and everyone was sitting on the couch talking. I sat next to Riley as normal.

She smiled, "Hey Lucas so we are about to play Truth or Dare."

"Sounds cool," I answered.

"So uncle boing this is Ranger Rick in case you forgot," Maya said gesturing towards me.

"Maya, I've always wondered what boing means?" I asked.

Farkle laughed, "Me too."

"Obviously it's because he's hot," she replied rolling her eyes.

Josh laughed, "Oh really."

She laughed "Oh come on you already knew that."

"Is that also why I am bucky mc boing boing?" I asked.

She was shocked and had no words.

"Do I have two boings because I am extra hot?" I said winking at her.

I laughed so hard.

"Okay let's play," Riley said confused.
