Summer Job

Chapter Five

Maya POV

I woke up in someone else's bed. I looked under the sheets and I was wearing someone's t-shirt. Where am I? Did I sleep with someone? Then I got flashbacks.

I kissed Skye. I drank too much. I changed and slept. Hopefully, that was it because I don't remember anything else. I got up and went downstairs. I see Skye cleaning the house.

"Good morning gorgeous," Skye said looking at me, "Still hungover?"

"Morning," I yawned, "And Obviously."

"Can I use the shower?" I asked knowing I smelled like crap.

He laughed, "Go ahead."

I walked upstairs and took a shower. After I felt better. I looked at my clothes they were soaked. I got another flashback. I ran into the ocean with him. Wow. What do I wear?

"Can I borrow some of your clothes?" I yelled.

"Go ahead," he yelled back.

I looked through his clothes. I could get away with wearing a t-shirt as a dress. I mean people would think I'm wearing a swimsuit under it. They won't know I am wearing a bra and underwear.  I looked into the mirror and it looked like I was dumped into the ocean. My mascara was running. I look and feel like a mess. I walked towards our summer house and quietly went inside. I am feeling exhausted so I made some coffee.

"Good morning sunshine," Riley laughed.

I closed my eyes taking a sip of my coffee, "Why do you need to be so loud."

"Loud that was a whisper Maya," she replied. I rolled my eyes and continued to drink my coffee and grabbing a bagel.

"So how was he," she winked.

"Who?" I heard someone ask. I turned around and saw Lucas walking in from the back door. I rolled my eyes.

"What are you guys talking about?" Josh asked coming downstairs. Just my luck. They all come to interrogate me. Next, comes down a tired Farkle. I rolled my eyes again.

"You know Maya your eyes could get stuck there one day," Farkle laughed pouring some coffee.

"Thanks for the heads up," I laughed.

Riley laughed, "Anyway, I need to ask you how was he?"

The boys looked very confused. Then they looked at my appearance and realized what she was talking about. They then stiffened. Farkle was trying to contain his laughter because of how tense it got in the room.

I hit Farkle, "I didn't sleep with him, Riles." Then the whole room got less tense. She laughed and so did Farkle.

"Anyways what are we doing today Babe?" Riley asked facing Lucas. The shock on Lucas's face was the greatest thing ever. I looked at Farkle and we both looked like we were about to burst.

Lucas POV

Riley called me babe. It was out of the blue. It felt so weird. I cringed so hard. I looked at Maya and Farkle and they were about to explode with laughter. Not going to lie I wanted to do so also.

Then Riley grabbed my hand, "Maya I totally forgot to tell you but I asked Lucas to be my boyfriend last night."

"Congratulations guys," Josh smiled and Maya nodded.

"We have to look for jobs Riles," Maya added.

"Do you want to hang out tonight," Riley said with puppy dog eyes facing me.
